Big Ten Tournament Tickets?

Submitted by GoBlue21 on

I've been looking to purchase tickets for the Big Ten Tournament.  I'm traveling from Cincinnati, OH and i have a few questions...

1.  Where is the best place to purchase tickets?  I've looked on Stubhub, Ebay, Ticket City, Craigslist, Vivid Seats.  I've heard that scalping might be the best way but if Indiana wins, i'm sure it will be harder to scalp for Friday's game.

2.  How do you know what side to sit on?  I would like to seat with other Michigan fans if possible.

3.  For the people that have been to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, are there sections to stay away from?  Obviously i'd like to watch the game as close as possible but depending on prices, I don't want to get stuck in a section where it's hard to see the game.

Any help and/or information would be greatly appreciated...Go Blue!

I am trying to figure out if there's a downloadable ticket option for the tournament. Everything on stubhub now is UPS delivery, which is a pain. Anyone find any good resources for e-tickets?

First off, StubHub is the best way to go by far. It's the most reliable also. My advice would be to buy individual sessions instead of an all sessions package because StubHub seems to be way overpriced with those. Secondly, sections 1 and 201 are reserved for Michigan fans so you are going to want to look in that direction which is on the basline closer to the bench sideline. I have never been to Bankers Life but will be there this year! Go Blue!

I've been to Bankers Life a lot for Pacers games and usually sit in the upper level.  They're really aren't bad seats unless you're way up in the upper level.  If you can find tickets in the first 10 rows of the upper level or lower, you'll be able to see just fine.  Also, baseline seats in the upper level have a good view.  I didn't like sitting on the baseline until I did it there.  The seats are actually a little closer to the action than the upper level sideline seats.

Hi

At some point will mgoblue.com offer tickets, if only to season subscribers?  That seems to have happened in the past.  I had sortof expected it to be announced today with a sale tomorrow, for example.

I notice that stubhub has no seats available for lower section 1 or 201, so I figured those are reserved for teams to distribute, but I don't know how.

I also notice that the number of tickets available for Saturday (I cant get down there Friday) has been increasing over the past 24 hours, which I assumes also means the prices will have to soften a little.

Anyone with prior experience know if it is risky to wait until Friday's result to buy tickets for Saturday's game?

I will be gazing down upon the proletariat from a suite Friday.  A friend of a friend is a Pacers season ticket holder, and he has a suite.

*Probably not valid if Purdue wins Thursday and so does Indiana.  In which case I will be at O'Reilly's.  Does anyone know for sure that O'Reilly's is the Michigan haunt?

Edit:  confirmed - O'Reilly's Irish Bar is the Michigan spot.
