Michigan has 7 CWS appearances and has won two titles in 1953 and 1962. Those 7 appearances are the most of any B10 team. The years Michigan appeared were 1953,1962,1978,1980,1981,1983,1984 and the 1984 season was the last year any B10 team represented the conference in the CWS. Minnesota has the most CWS championships of any current B10 team with 3 in 5 appearances. The last time the Gophers appeared was 1977. Michigan St. has only 1 appearance in 1954. Wisconsin has only 1 appearance in 1950. Iowa has only 1 appearance in 1972. The last time a B10 won the CWS was OSU in 1966 but OSU's has not appeared in the CWS since 1967. The B10 teams never to appear in the CWS are Indiana, Purdue, Illinois and Northwestern. Also, on an overall note, USC has the most CWS Titles with 12 in 21 appearances. Texas has the most appearances with 33 and 6 titles. In conclusion, cold weather is the shriveling anti-steroid.
