Beckum
So the whole game here I am assuming Travis Beckum is too injured to play, or why else wouldn't he be playing? Then, lo and behold, when Wisconsin trails for the first time after the Thompson touchdown Beckum enters the game. He even looked pretty good when he was out there, it's not like he was Henne or Hart at the end of last year when they clearly weren't at full strength. Apparently, Bielema only wanted to play Beckum if "they thought they needed him."
I guess I shouldn't really be complaining about this because it was a huge break for Michigan that he missed most of the game. But still......ouch. Bielema didn't think they needed him at the start of the game? I mean I would totally understand if they took him out at some point in the first half after watching the putrid display of the Michigan offense. But he didn't play a single snap until right at the end of the game. It just makes me think that despite what Bielema said at the start about Wisconsin taking Michigan seriously... they really weren't at all. Oh well, makes a already satisfying win even more satisfying!!

Beckum's still got a tender hammy. He missed the first two games.
And in any case I'm not complaining too much. It was Beckum's mistake that nullified the 2PC.

Interesting. I wonder how Beckum could have changed the game at full strength? Let's count our blessings that he wasn't 100%.
I think Wisky underestimated Michigan today. Luckily for Michigan I think the halftime defict was good. Wisky came out in the second half flat and never got back into it.
