You left off the top player in the country in the freshman class Emoni Bates of Ypsi or has he changed his plans?

He'll probably go straight to the league

Didn’t mention it because frankly, he’s not going to college. He has the look of a pro assuming normal development

Burnett would be huge but considering that he cannot stay in even one high school for more than a year, he definitely would be a one and done.

Matt, should we read into Scooby not making it up or is that not a big deal?
February 24th, 2019 at 2:27 PM ^
No big deal at all. His HS team has practice today and state playoffs commence tomorrow. HS coach would be none too happy if his leader decided to skip practice for a visit on the heels of tourney time.

Makes sense. Thanks for the response!

Not against it but suprised they have Sunday practice.

Pretty routine these days. My daughter’s HS team is a perennial state championship contender and they practice on Sundays often. She’s already signed, but her HS coach wouldn’t be pleased if she bailed on her teammates to take a visit just prior to playoff time.

So we can expect 5 “hello” posts after we win by 40 then? Cool.
in all seriousness, I feel like MSU gets all their commits from guys who don’t take official visits to watch them play. I can’t fathom anyone watching that angry gnome stomp around and berate his players and think “that is who I want my coach to be.” The difference in coaching styles is always on display when we play them
