BBall Recruiting - 2021 Guard Target Jaden Akins/Staff In To See Him
Jaden would probably be my 1 or 1a for an offer with respect to in-state kids come June 15th. Objectively, I think he may very well be on par with Zeb Jackson right now, and I think he's better at the same stage of development. This kid has all the tools, shiftiness, vision, shotmaking, athleticism...........and a 3.7 GPA to go along with it. Great kid for sure.
He's a no-brainer high-major prospect in my opinion that will absolutely blow up this Summer.

Just saw on Twitter via Jake Weingarten that Michigan is visiting 2021 5 star Caleb Furst today. Any opinions on him?

Have not seen Furst live so I can't really provide an educated evaluation. That will change this weekend, as I will certainly be able to catch him in Atlanta.
IMO he is close to tapped out on his ability. Didn't feel he got a ton better from last to this year. Will be interesting to watch his development from here on out.
Nice looking game from this kid. Good passer and great body control. Shot starts a little wonky, but he finishes nicely. I'm liking all the lefties Beilein seems to be after lately.
Matt D, do you think the Cole Anthony commit to UNC does anything good/bad for us in pursuit of Pierce?
I don't have any inside information with respect to Pierce, but logic would dictate that Anthony is going to have the ball in his hands A LOT (ala Coby White), so perhaps that isn't appealing to Pierce in his final year.
