Basketball, Football thoughts/questions Potpourri

Some of this might be perceived as negativity but here goes anyway. Not meant that way  

Basketball.  Seems like what we’ve seen so far is pretty much our floor.  I don’t think we’ve been playing great and we have a decent record.  I’m happy.

Simpson and Teske are playing about like I’ve expected.  Still not sure how good Wagner will be and B Johns is being physical but thought he might score a little more.  Those 2 could have a huge impact on our season if they continue to develop. Like Castleton a lot  

Bajema’s shot mechanics are great imo.  He is going to be special.  I think wagners shot needs some work.  He starts his shot with the ball way too low.  Probably ok in college but might be tough in the nba.  

Football. I didn’t post after the last game of the season but isn’t there a way to get our defense set before their offense snaps the ball?  

Serious question. Why do they have to look to the sidelines when the offense is in a hurry up?  Can’t there be a player like Mcgrone that can at least call out a base defense and get set while still waiting on the details from the sidelines?
