BASEBALL: Barry Larkin's #16 to be Retired @ OSU series
I've got class at 7p. So, if anyone listens to WTKA in the next hour, any recap or news of import that may go on, if you could relay that to me here, that'd be great.
Supposed to be some big news according to @Michigan_baseb. Not sure what as of right now.
Big News: Barry Larkin's number is being retired May 1st when we host the Buckeyes. #16 is going up on the wall.
Berset is on the interview as well. He's been awesome.
Glad to hear it. His number is unofficially retired in Cincinnati and I'm sure the Reds will formally retire it at some point. Hopefully the Hall of Fame is the next accolade in Barry's future. He's one of the best all around shortstops of all time, and he certainly deserves to be there.
but coming for the spring game so can't swing two trips there that close together. My favorite baseball player of all time.
