Abdur-Rahkman's NBA dreams hit a snag after foot injury

Submitted by Wolverine In Iowa 68 on

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has been sidelined by a foot injury while preparing for a professional career.  He was working out on his own, getting ready for the upcoming  draft, landed wrong, and broke a bone in his foot, which required surgery.

He's got 3 to 4 months before he can return to basketball activities.

A tough road just got a whole lot tougher for him.  The timing of this could not possibly be worse - hope he recovers fully and I really hope he's made plans for a career that doesnt involve basketball cause my guess is, he's going to need it.

I think he could have a nice career in Europe or the G-league, but the NBA will be a tough tough road.  Regardless he should make some dough.
