54th Annual Great Lakes Invitational Starts Today Thread
To assist in cleansing our collective psyche from yesterday's debacle, we have the 2018 GLI tournament today at Little Ceasars Arena. It's too bad the hoops game conflicts but hopefully, we have a blowout of Binghamton in process and the we can throw some attention to our hockey team as well.
Our icers start the slate facing the Michigan Tech Huskies at 1:00pm. Unfortunately, the game is only available for viewing via stream at flohockey. You can listen to the UM audio broadcast here.
If you're interested, Lake State takes on FYS at 4:00pm - flohockey.
The third place game starts tomorrow at 11:30am and, once again, is only available at flohockey. The championship game starts at 2:30pm and will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit.
Maybe our hockey team can give us something good to replace what we were exposed to yesterday.
