she’s not the same level of passer, but here’s hoping she does the markquis nowell, “undersized, new york, point guard transfer season thing” end to her collegiate career. looks like she’s got the scoring / shooting chops, at least.
I'm really hoping for vastly improved ball handling / reduced turnovers.
Last year they could not reliably break the press, and it was a problem at critical moments.
A press-breaking clinic was put on years ago by MSU against Florida in the national championship (courtesy of Scott Skiles tutelage of young coach Izzo.)
Hoping Phelia getting back to form will help, but I think that's really on the coaches for not having better ingrained press concepts and smart guards to execute...here's to our newest Wolverine helping to address that issue.

Sorry to go full WD, but... are they changing the uniforms for next season? I wouldn't have noticed otherwise, but if you look at this pic of Hansen (welcome to Ann Arbor btw if you're reading this!):
There is almost a full 3-4 inches of space between the "MICHIGAN" and the uni number, which looks.... odd? Contrast this with the uniform we've been wearing:
I'm guessing that's just a goof-up off the pile of spares they keep for recruits, and is not reflective of a design change. Whoever our Official Seamstress is got it wrong attaching the number. Nike probably won't announce what we're wearing for the upcoming season until Aug anyway.
If you've ever been to an AD Garage Sale, there are (were) lots of these kinds of WTF apparel items.
