2022 CB Domani Jackson names M to top 10

Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei cornerback Domani Jackson (class of 2022) named Michigan to his top 10. Obviously, we're a long way away from National Signing Day, but he's a 4-star, the #2 cornerback, and the #12 player overall in his class. New Michigan wide receiver commit Cristian Dixon is from the same high school. 247 scout Brandon Huffman compares him to Marshon Lattimore.

Also, not sure if it's been posted, but Fresno (CA) Central East wide receiver Xavier Worthy is announcing his college decision on July 10, which is next Friday.

Don’t think it will be easy but apparently this kid grew up a Michigan fan and is VERY interested.  Sam and Co. discussed him in their last Michigan Insider recruiting Podcast.

Could be a very interesting year for CBs as we also are in pretty good position with in-stater Will Johnson who is a legacy.  He is currently the #4 overall CB and Jackson is #2 — both potential 5*s.

Can Zordich shut Maizen up in 2022?

As of now we're in very good position for 2022 with CBs. Domani Jackson and Jaeden Gould are very interested in Michigan and we may lead for both, and while we may not lead for Will Johnson at the moment, we are firmly in the mix and him being a legacy obviously helps

Domani in Italian means tomorrow. Growing up in my Italian household, I heard my mom say domani a lot. As in, I’ll believe he commits to UofM domani.

Magnus I would have led with the 2nd piece of news you mentioned.  That one is far more pressing and interesting.  A top 10?  Nothing to write home about.

Domani is very good friends with Michigan CB Darion Green-Warren so that’ll help and he grew up a Michigan fan. Also he’s used to moving around because he comes from a military family so the distance factor isn’t a problem.
