With so many alumni situated on the NE corridor, I'm really excited to see confirmation that we will playing at least one game within driving distance every year.  When you add in the PSU away games in the odd years, there's even more opportunities to see multiple games each year.

With the renovations, Michigan Stadium has gained in the home-field advantage department.  With the expansion east, and putting aside our frustration with the value of Maryland and Rutgers, our away disadvantage will go down, IMO.

One tangential act of minor griping, though.  I wish we were playing Colorado again in Boulder.  One game in Ann Arbor does nothing for me.  I'd even settle for a two on, one off like the '90's.  I know it's a money loser to play away, and Colorado is a laughing stock at the moment.  But there are few better venues, from an aesthetic standpoint, than Folsom Field at the base of the Flatirons.  We have history with them, albeit painful, so a series does make some sense.  Plus, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountain Region in general, are increasing in population and high school football prowess.  You can already see our coaches recruiting more in this area with Chris Fox, Kalen Ballage and everyone's vision quest all-american, Alex Kozan.
