In that Final Four, Indiana and Rutgers.
That was a very good Michigan team. Wayman Britt, Ricky Green, Phil Hubbard. They were unfortunate in having to go against that Indiana team that probably would have been undefeated for two consecutive years had Scotty May not broken his wrist. Good times. Fond memories.
It hurt bad enough the first time.
First time two teams from the same conference played in the finals. My parents did the nasty about a month later. Those shorts are absolutely obscene. About 35 minutes in there is a Tosh.0 "Is it racist?" moment when the announcer comments that "These modern players can really get up off the floor". Obviously I wasn't alive, but major college basketball had been integrated for a while by then(maybe a decade?) right?
We didn't need to know that about your parents.
