I'm thinking of finally redoing this video because I think I have enough highlights to add Greg McMurtry. I just hope YouTube doesn't block it since they like to block everything I do these days....

DG's switched numbers because he wanted to switch numbers. Have that ever cameto mind. Maybe it was time for a change. Heck, he wasn't playing with the number 7 so he deemed it unlucky and switched to 12.
the coaches using the #1 jersey as a recruiting inducement. Other schools do it and Michigan traditionally used it that way. The Braylon scholarship is what's turned this into a bit of a controversy (does so-and-so deserve it or should it be given to someone else) And who knows what a player has to do to "earn it". I guess it's all water under the bridge now. Coach Hoke evidently has criteria for who gets it and has communicated that to the team. So, it's good he seems to be sticking to that in talking to recruits.
