As a highschool all-state punter I can attest to some of these -- obviously i was better then Sam is at them, but primarily the angle one way/kick across body would get the returner to take a couple false steps.  The liner has been around for years though, nothing new there

The one who doesn't get the ball should be able to pick off a gunner or take/fake a reverse.
