While I don't disagree with a lot of what people are saying in that thread (super-conferences == bad) it does contain one of the most stereotypical Notre Dame comments ever.

"The Chicago offices of the country's biggest law firms are full of ND and NDLS grads: these guys will eat the conferences for lunch if they try to push people overboard. "

It's too bad that Stanford, Michigan, Berkeley, Virginia, Duke, Northwestern, UCLA, and Vanderbilt don't have higher ranked law schools and vastly more alums in order to help out the conference's side.

Funny how the non-AQ schools haven't come up with this brilliant lawsuit scheme... nobody would categorically deny ND the right to play, they'd just have to qualify in the same manner as Boise State. Let them sign their death warrant
