I really expect too much from reporters. But I guess it's easier to put the same old words in a blender mix them all up and pour it out in to clean glass and call it new. Hey, Hinton in case you haven't noticed the horse is dead you can stop now.

The horse isn't dead - Michigan's had an awful time the past few years and it's worth questioning how much of a turn around this season will be. As a fan, I can generate as much unwarranted optimism as the next person, but, from a national point of view, this is one of the key questions of the upcoming season: how will Michigan fare in year three with an incredibly young team?

I'm just thankful all this nonsense will end on Sept. 4.

Get real people, the planning must begin for the next Michigan coach.

Brock Mealer will show us some good news on Saturday and our fortunes will turn.

How about a reporter coming up with an original article? Oh wait, that would be too difficult. It's easier to just keep rehashing the same exact stories that have produced hundreds of articles already. As I finished the article, I thought to myself: "what a worthless article. Why did I just waste my time reading that?"

I can't wait til we roll to 8-4 this year and have all of these morons jump back on the bandwagon and start saying "I told you so" even though what they've told us is that RR is the worst coach in Michigan history. Haters are gonna hate, but the second we're back on top everyone's going to say they told us so. Doc Sat is garbage.

I love the unbridled optimism, but this should not deter contingency planning.

As much as I'd be fine with 8-4 this year, that's not rolling and it's definitely not back on top. I'm optimistic about this year, but let's have a winning season and beat OSU before we start worrying about the bandwagoners.
