"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."
Just curious -- Last "Ticket Watch" was September 15th, and the first was before the season started. Is this something that is going to continue to be sporadic? Is it dead? Do you want me to go away?
Thanks in advance
Question about what people are doing to save their stuff from Saturday.
I'm thinking about getting everything framed, but i'm worried it might cost a fortune and not come out right.
(I preface this by saying I ran into Coach Hoke in the parking lot after the game and he was nice enough to sign the UTL jersey I had on)
But would it be a good idea to get one giant frame and put the jersey in it, with the ticket and program?... should I put the pom-pom in it as well?
I'm not big on collecting things that need frames, b/c of the cost, but this might be worth it.
Just looking for ideas, even outside of framing, on how to commemorate the game.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that my ND 4-game ticket package came in the mail today. I searched the board and didn't see anyone else post that they received tickets yet. SIAP.
In 2007 I bought a student ticket for the OSU game from a friend that has student tickets. It was time for me to get my ticket scanned he said my ticket has already been scanned. i had it in my possesion for weeks and was super pissed why it would work. they sent me to crisler but they pretty much said i was shit out of luck. i waited until half while watching the first half at a tv at the high school and then noticed they were just checking the ticket and ripped it off so i eventually got in.
A similar thing happened to me in 2008, i bought a ticket for the Toledo game from another friend, again having it for weeks before the game and they said it was already scanned.
Anyone had similar problems? Thoughts?
I was listening on EPN radio yesterday and WTKA today about a woman in Philliy was willing to trade a "date" to get two tickets to the World Series. It got me thinking, what would the fellow board members do to get a ticket if M was playing in the NC title game? How much would you be willing to pay? Btw, I'm not asking if anyone would be willing to do anything salaciuos
Hey guys, so my roommate left for home today and left me his DSU ticket. I had no idea he was going to, so I'm going to give it to someone for free. Just e-mail me with a quick reason why I should give it to you, and tell me how I could get it to you either today or tomorrow morning. Just remember it's a student ticket (I doubt they'll care about IDs tomorrow though).
Side note: I'll be at Michigan Madness tonight, so if you're there and you want it, heads up me - email@example.com.
Thanks and Go Blue!!
