in town for free camps
Duolingo is a pretty cool start-up out of Carnegie Mellon that helps users learn a language for free, while translating web pages in the process. Currently they only have Spanish, German and English for Spanish speakers, but they have French in beta, and Italian and Chinese coming soon.
I've been wanting to learn Spanish for a while now, so I started the Spanish program and I think it's going pretty well so far. On a slow Saturday, I figured that we 're a pretty well-educated bunch and that this would of interest/use to some people. And, hey, maybe you'll eventually get to translate MGoBlog for some non-English speaking kid in Spain.
