this week in unintentionally grim-sounding recruiting headlines
Probly not board worthy but it's Sunday and the Tigers seem to have taken a holiday today. I remember someone was asking about student tickets a few days ago and though I didn't respond, I was similarly freaking out thinking maybe I messed something up and wasn't going to have tickets (especially to the ND game).
Anyway- I got my tickets yesterday so fear not, they are en route (finally). I seem to remember getting them way earlier in past years which definitely contributed to my panicking. I'm equally excited about Row 13 because I'll be able to tell opposing players they smell this year.
If you deem this unworthy for the board, well, neg away but at least you had something new to read for 1 second. Also I have like 1000 MGoPoints that I can't do anything with so F it.
Looks like the SEC has passed on their bid.
I forget how this one ends, but I might put my money on Washington State--that Ryan Leaf looks talented.
Started at 3:30 eastern, runs until 5:30.
SIAP....While it has been well established that Hoke poops gold, I was wondering if anyone has done an analysis of Hoke's gameday coaching? I'd love to see a story on his strengths and weaknesses from his time as HC at Ball State and SDSU. Maybe someone with more time on their hands could do a diary on issues such as:
- clock management
- half time adjustments
- 4th down tendencies
- how does he feel about punting from, say, the opponent's 35 yard line?
- Game planning (predictable?)
I recall stories about schemes he has run, but that is not what I'm interested in. I want to know what to expect from him on gameday.
For those of you who watched the games on ESPN3 in the US - do you have to live outside of the broadcast footprint (aka, being outside the midwest/west-coast) to watch the game.
If you lived in Michigan, could you watch the games as well?
Did they do ABC games, or just ESPN games?
I shot this at the Fan Day today...it was pretty much the highlight of the trip (thus back and on so soon) since I don't really get into autographs, and the free stuff was gone in like 15 minutes. (And no one is working the lines to make it easy to get around the Stadium). But there's still a little outline for the edges, and the full screen shot still looks big...and pretty.
Any fuzz is due to my camera, not the screens. They were super clear.
