Rough Estimate of Denard's Speed
We have several data points regarding Denard's speed - 40 yard times, 100m sprint times etc. However, we do not yet know how fast Denard is in a football game - with all the gear on and the ball in hand. Now, thanks to the 83 yard TD run - much of which was a straight line sprint - we can do a rough estimation of Denard's football sprint.
I am basing this on one of the several videos of the TD run. In that Denard shoots through the gap and starts sprinting at the 20 yard line at the 8 second mark and then crosses the goal line at the 17 second mark - so roughly 9 seconds for 80 yards.
This yields a speed of 4.5 sec for 40 yards in game situation. Thats pretty fast - and that too after running around for almost two quarters - I guess he would have been faster when not tired.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the Pure 100% Comlumbian Awesomeness of the MGoStore and UGP. Monday night I was inhebriated and ordered 2 Shoelace t-shirts for my brother and I. I got home from the office last night and they had arrived and looked incredible. I just wanted to say Great work and service to the MGoStore and UGP. I Cant wait to break in a new gameday shirt on Saturday drinkin some Fat Tire and Denard Robinson Kool-Aid.

I was wondering if there is anyone living in the Los Angeles area that knows of a place that will be showing the UMass game? I know Hollywood Billiards would show the games but it is closed for renovations. Thanks!

Regardless of whether or not you like Lady GaGa (I don't), the MMB's show this week is all about her. Who's ready to dance their asses off? The show has already got some attention.
