I go to Marquette and there were a lot of rumors that he was coming here, given he is from Milwaukee. Obviously a good player, but no way would I want that on my team.
this game probably serves more a morale booster for heading into the big ten tourney or even next season. Even if we win, we are still 9-9 in conference play, with our biggest wins against a struggling michigan state team and a win at minnesota. I'm not at all trying to be a downer, but looking at this situation purely objectively shows that we most likely won't get in with this regular season schedule (I'm not including what could potentially happen in the B10 tourney). With numbers like 251st in points/game, 299th in rebounds/game, 122 in assists/game, and 121st in field goal percentage/game we realistically can't make it into the tournament. 9-9 isn't entirely bad for conference play, BUT I really don't think any of us can deny the down year the big ten is having, and that doesn't help our cause at all. I realize that I will probably get down voted like none other, but that really only shows a sense of blindness one may have for this whole situation. I would love for michigan to make it into the big dance, but I just don't think it will happen.
I watched him three years at my high school, and he has definitely improved a lot. I hope this means he also improved in being a clutch player in close games at the end. Often times, he seemed to be a non factor within the last three minutes. I really hope this has changed though. He's a good kid, and props to him.

Tonight I was watching the game at school in Milwaukee, and I was just rooting for Woodley and Woodson to have good games (I strongly dislike each team). Everyone here (all badger, buckeye, hoosier, and irish fans) unanimously claimed that Charles Woodson was the worst Heisman winner ever and that Peyton should've won it. On a completely unbiased standpoint, what is your opinion on this? I strongly disagreed, but I would like some reassureance besides watching his videos from Michigan that he was a most deserving winner.
because these aren't dirty players? And there are so many more videos like these of them. And if you think that I'm trying to argue that those are the only players that play dirty, obviously not, but those are the most prevalent that benders, like you, should easily know about. There's no doubt they are amazing players. But I have a lot of trouble with their mentality and the NHL embracing it, when there is an underrated and humble player like Zetterberg that didn't get selected. I think the captains will select him in the end, but it's a slap in the face to all the Zetty stands for.
they got one thing right in picking him as a captain. Zetty not in the all star game??! 16 goals, 34 assists and 50 points. He's seventh in points! And he isn't a dirty player like crosby or malkin. AND THE FLOW!
Oh I know, I am an awaful test taker. I am know that that's why I got denied, but I am just saying. Supposedly last year the average ACT score was 27 that got in, so the one point is kind of nonsense if everything else I have is very good. Oh my dad and uncle went there, and my sister currently goes there so that was annoying.
deferred then waitlisted then rejected last year with a 3.9 GPA from u of d jesuit with 6 honors and AP courses and a 26 on the ACT. I also had a lot of extracurriculars with no criminal (that sounds funny) or any sort of negative school record. So yeah, I think they have tightened up acceptance.
we don't get an oversized drum playing at the games it won't be too purduey. Does anybody know where I can buy the big chill jersey? I searched everywhere and couldn't find it.
