05/13/2010 - 4:36pm I'm not sure he's as big a project as people think...

....especially on a team like Boston.  Yes, the big 3 are on their last legs, but they won't be gone for another 2-3 seasons at least.  All Harris would have to do is run wild with the second unit while he undoubtedly gets much better in practice playing with those guys.  As a slasher/scorer, he can also give Pierce/Allen more rest.

05/13/2010 - 4:26pm Disclaimer: I'm a Celtics fan...grew up in New England...

...but Harris would make a lot of sense at #19.  After the lottery (and a lot of times in the lottery), the draft is pretty much a crap shoot.  Harris would excel in a system with proven vets (the big 3), an established PG (Rondo), and an opportunity to be a main source of bench scoring, which the Celtics desperately need.

Granted, this is quite the homer analysis, but a guy can hope.  GO CELTICS!

03/15/2010 - 3:32pm A Combination

1.) How hot or cold a team is in their last 10 games
2.) Gut-check test: When first looking at the matchup, what is your immediate feeling
3.) Tournament Pedigree

Points 1 and 3 are a little more research based, but I basically run through the bracket once after I accumulate those stats and go with my gut. If you watch enough college basketball, which I'm assuming most Mgobloggers do, your intuition should provide you with a decent enough bracket.

Overthinking is death.

11/20/2009 - 10:26am Thread for hype videos/TV intros

Someone should start an all-encompassing thread for people to post their favorite hype videos and TV intros in preparation for tomorrow's game so they are all in one place. I would, but I can't start one yet.
