I'll be singing it to myself all day.  Excellent work SSA

Personal attacks amongst the…

Personal attacks amongst the posters is probably the main reason I've mostly been a lurker for 12 years.

No one who wants to go in…

No one who wants to go in the draft is going to play a season starting in January.

From where he was shot to…

From where he was shot to where he was discovered is over a half a mile.  That's a long way to walk with a hole in your cheek.

Can't dance in briefs…

Can't dance in briefs... there's no ballroom.

I've seen probably 20 games…

I've seen probably 20 games at Ohio Stadium (UM '94, '96, '16, '18).  MSU, Purdue, Indiana, Penn State.

For basketball, I didn't see a game at Jennison, but I've been in there.  Old St. John (OSU) was a great place to catch a game.  Value City Arena is soulless.  Had tickets for the B1G tourney this year (womp womp.)  Assembly Hall in Bloomington is still on the list.

I feel hapeeeee!

When it was announced, all…

When it was announced, all of the players started talking to other schools.  It will be interesting to see how many will still pull the trigger on a transfer.

96 in Columbus.  I got to…

96 in Columbus.  I got to meet George Steinbrenner before the game.  They were still smarting from 95, and the disbelief that it happened again was delicious.

They're already hearing it…

They're already hearing it from people scrambling to get childcare arranged.  If they did it tomorrow, it would be pandemonium.  I'm lucky that I can work from home.  My kids are going to be real pissed, though.  We cancelled our Florida trip today.

He did get his contract…

He did get his contract guaranteed earlier in the year, so there's that.  I imagine he'll pop back up again somewhere, but I was hoping he'd get a chance at a ring.  Maybe the Lakers wind up picking him up after he's cut?

Apropos of nothing, but 247 still has Beilein listed as HC:

There's been too many games…

There's been too many games where we wind up shaking our head and saying, "We win that game with competent QB play."

Here's hoping Joe or Dylan is the answer in 2020.

That's true, but it doesn't…

That's true, but it doesn't fit with the narrative that they *don't care* about football.

Syracuse's were pretty good,…

Syracuse's were pretty good, too. I liked the super hero angle.  Of course it's not going to be the deciding factor for a recruit, but those little things do add up.

I'm 6'5" and 230, so I don't…

I'm 6'5" and 230, so I don't hear too much either.  Usually its something under their breath after I've passed.  A few years ago, a guy sent his kid over to troll me.  I told the kid, probably 11-12, go tell your dad he must have a real small dick to send his son over instead of him.  The kid went back and I could see his dad's face turn beet red, excuse me, scarlet.  I just waved my pinky at him.

Today, I was waiting in line for lunch and some dude and his wife saw my work badge has an M on it.  He asked if I still liked Harbaugh.  I nodded and turned away.  He kept going though, "We love him in Ohio!  He should coach forever!"  He kept yukking it up with her, so I turned and said, "I do love Harbaugh.  Probably as much as you love your ugly woman."

I stood there and gave him a look like, are you going to do something to defend her?  She hissed, "Fuck You!" and drug him off.

Dude in front of me turned around and said, "I'm a Buckeye, but that was awesome."

Free speech is a bitch.

Every God-damn day I wear a M on my Goodwill Columbus ID.

I got my guys all matching sneakers that they could wear to the reception.  I had everyone's nickname airbrushed on the side with the wedding date on the back.

The OP assumes a lot of…

The OP assumes a lot of third year guys will be back.  The Transfer Portal will steal a couple of more we weren't expecting.  College football has become a year to year enterprise, and you can't reliably look ahead even 12 months anymore.  Look at OSU, they had 3rd year guy Haskins and Tathan.  12 months later, they are running out the former Georgia recruit.  The players can move to a place that gives them a better opportunity and they absolutely should.  But, can you imagine Tom Brady transferring to Cal for his graduate year?  We know Woodson was on his way out.  Florida State, I think?   The point is, we can't predict what rosters are going to look like year to year anymore.

My Bro-lo already has one of…

My Bro-lo already has one of these obnoxious hats.  This is tremendously on brand for tOSU.  Somebody starts making money on something tangential to the school and their lawyers are all over it with lawsuits and applications for trademarks.  I would be interested to know how many trademarks and copyrights they own.

After you do that, You can…

After you do that, You can determine your best 9 Michigan baseball players based on your Social Security Number!

No doubt.  I wear Michigan…

No doubt.  I wear Michigan gear all the time, and I even wear a block M badge on my work ID.  However, I'd never leave a car in a Columbus parking lot with anything UM on it.

I live in Columbus.  Next question?

I kinda like the jacket? …

I kinda like the jacket?  Not for me, but I'm 43 and I don't have a cool chest tat to show off.

The pants make it look like he's bow-legged or pigeon-toed.

Either way, he now has enough money to look trashy.  Congrats, Devin!

This hits home for me as I'm…

This hits home for me as I'm trying to decide if I should take a different job.  In my current Job, I have 2 dozen spots within walking distance.  Everything from sushi to Pad Thai to pizza and burgers.  The new job would be out in the middle of nowhere, and I'd have to drive just to get to the Popeye's chicken at the interstate truck stop.  I imagine I'd have to start packing my lunch, but I'd definitely miss the variety I have now.  I haven't got to the point where we're discussing salary yet, but if it is not a substantial raise, I'll probably stay in my current position and continue to pack on the weight.

I've also been listening to Dwight Yoakam's Bakersfield Beat station on Sirius XM.

If he thinks he's getting…

If he thinks he's getting immediate eligibility because someone at Georgia used a racial slur at him, I got bad news for him about Columbus...

I didn’t have too much of a problem.

Nice.  Last time I saw AJ…

Nice.  Last time I saw AJ was a buddy's wedding probably 15 years ago.  Gameday did a feature on Oliver early in the year, and AJ was interviewed for that piece.  I know he loves Houston, and I hope he can stay there a long time.

My high school buddy is the…

My high school buddy is the D-Line coach and was Oliver's coach in high school (CSB.)  I imagine this put him in a pretty awkward position.  Interestingly, my friend is nowhere near the scene in any of the video I saw.  He probably saw it coming and wanted to stay well clear.

I would refer you to the…

I would refer you to the case of Higdon v. Weber.  The kid should go where he wants to be, but if he looks at the others in the class, and he thinks he's getting more playing time somewhere else, there's always going to be a JK Dobbins who will come around the next year.  Also, go where the coaches are developing the best offensive lines, and I think that's Michigan now?  Or, take the short money at UT, and be a Knoxville celebrity *snicker*

FWIW, Columbus radio has…

FWIW, Columbus radio has been holding a wake for the past 24 hours.  The local hacks are generally all resigned to the fact that he’s done.  It’s been glorious.  I doubt I’ll get much done at work today.  That being said, I believe he’s relieved of his duties before the start of the season.

He clearly thinks he can go…

He clearly thinks he can go one and done, but he was never going to be guaranteed the starting job with DeJulius already on campus.  Good luck to him, but I think he made a short-sighted decision.

I would like to +1 this gif,…

I would like to +1 this gif, but Army gave me a new hand.

-1 for my hatred of Boston’s teams

+1 since I didn’t see a single buckeye all weekend.

Good for him

I see nothing wrong with a Hall of Famer challenging the current team. I’d be surprised if Harbaugh disagrees.

Burrow will be the QB at Nebraska

He’s graduating, and made it clear that he wants to play this fall. Apparently, his dad played at Nebraska and they do visit Columbus this year. Haskins will be the starter, but Urban isn’t going to say that now. There’s a small chance Martell could look around as well.

Ft Lauderdale

Nursing a pretty mean sunburn

They’re killing my perfect unicorn

The Crew was the only Ohio team I could root for. The rarest of the rare. I’m not a lawyer, but it seems like a Hail Mary. It’s really on brand for an Ohio politician to come up with spurned lover litigation, isn’t it? Modell did em dirty, but they’re gonna get alimony next time, dammit!

Section 101

I'll be there with the one child I love and the one that roots for osu.

Oh no

He has health problems

Brew Dog

Yes, it is Columbus (by way of Scotland.) Hazy Jane quickly became a favorite.

Oberon

I was shocked to find they sell it year round in Florida.

I think of Livers as our Draymond Green

No, he's not a petulant man-baby.  However, Livers is a strong and bothersome defender.  He is constently moving and always seems to be in the right place and always wins the 50/50 ball.  He's a decent enough shooter and seems to have that it factor to nail a big shot.  He's a winner and someone the other team probably hates to play against.

I still like Robinson off the bench, but Livers is clearly the better option in most instances.

Agreed

It appears that all you need to say is, "Hugh Freeze told me any violations were Houston Nutt's fault."

Might be a loose definition of a verbal agreement, but the NCAA is a loose definition of a governing body.

I know too many buckeyes

They want the respect of getting in, but NONE want anything to do with Clemson again.

All year long its been Hurst

I don't have the numbers at my fingertips, but most weeks PFF had been grading Mo as the best player (not just defensive lineman) in the country.  It feels like the 3 Michigan linemen may have split votes.  Regardless, anyone who paid any attention knows that Maurice Hurst was the best this year, hands down.
