I don't think a BTHC would all that good either.  I think the smaller schools would fold even though some schedule agreements would/could be arranged.  I agree with goblue6712 it seemed strange that UAH was denied to those that don't follow hockey, but I remember reading around that time as well that PSU was considering jumping to D1 for the spot but decided they wouldn't be ready.  now a couple years later this guy says lets get this done and the spot is still there.

If the sport expands and more smaller schools are able to develop viable programs in the future then I could see a BTHC but not this quickly.

I could see some sort of scheduling agreement between BT schools to play each other and award a BT Title.  The Ivy league does that with wrestling, they're in "Wrestling East" or something like that I can't remember and then among those Ivy schools they award their own crown.

And it means that he doesn't understand the rivalry with FSU blah blah blah......

I wonder if they're talking crap like that on the Miami meassage boards?

12/06/2010 - 4:19pm Yeah I know.....

Had OSU on big screen because Michigan didn't play until later, and it was better than watching N'western and Minny (bottom left), Ohio and EMU (Top two because there wasn't any other games on at noon on CBS, NBC, ABC)  and I can't remember the bottom right tv, it was a game on satelite though.

At 3:30 though, the big tv has Michigan, and the others get flipped multiple times to catch the other games for at least a little bit.

It's not a problem if you have a setup like I do.

10/20/2010 - 1:26pm I watched him last Friday (October 15)

His school played my school/home town....and to tell ya the truth, I wasn't all the impressed.  He's fast.....that's about it.  His size I'm sure is overstated.  There's no way he's 5-11 195.  Napoleon is 2 divisions smaller than Ross, and since rejoining the same league have more than held their own against more athletic teams.  (Could be that the Napoleon coaches do a better job, just my opinion and I really dislike Ross's coach)

Napoleon, who (gasps!!!!) runs a 3-3-5 defense because they're undersized but quick/fast held Brown to 12 yards on 6 carries.  I think 2 other carries were called back on holding penalties but they weren't terribly long runs to begin with....maybe 10 to 15 yards?  Can't remember for sure.

On Defense, I don't remember him being around the ball all that much and they had him lined up as a safety/LB hybrid type.  He looked undersized compared to many of the others on the field.

Michigan isn't losing anything by him not coming, I'd have to agree with Tim's comment that he's more of a high end MAC recruit.  Though I've been more impressed by some MAC recruits that I was Brown.
