Skipped leg day. Typical

:)

06/01/2018 - 3:30pm At first I thought this said “all black teams”

My next reaction was that the team would include no grit, no lunch pails, no gym rats, etc.

Then I reread it.

05/18/2018 - 3:00pm You mean like this?

05/17/2018 - 3:35pm Go to hedonism in Jamaica.

Don’t ask questions, just go. You’ll thank me later.

05/16/2018 - 10:35pm Are you sure you’re not Survivor

Or at least the surviving members of Survivor. If so, then your username would really check out.

05/14/2018 - 9:46pm Perhaps through the eyes of the tech worker

But with regards to being a tourist, which is what the OP is and why the OP posted this, Munich is far and away better for a tourist.

Ive been to Berlin several times (going back there in August this year). I lived in Europe as a child and saw Berlin pre-wall collapse. I got to see checkpoint Charlie. I’ve see Berlin grow since. Like Munich, Berlin was decimated because of the war. Munich did a much better job rebuilding recapturing it’s original charm. Although, as mentioned in another post, I think Munich could have done a better job doing so.

05/14/2018 - 6:42pm You must have German family/ancestors from the north

Because I rarely (if ever) hear people prefer Berlin over Munich.

05/14/2018 - 6:39pm Might I recommend a day trip outside of Munich?

You’ll get a lot of good suggestions inside Munich, but Bavaria is absolutely gorgeous in the summer. You can rent a nice bmw (or German equivalent) and see some of best parts of Bavaria in a day. You could even head south and check out some beautiful parts of the alps in Austria, like Innsbruck.

Munich is great. Great food, beer and people. The city was bombed pretty bad during WWII, so it lost a lot of its charm IMO.

05/14/2018 - 10:23am I don't know if you watch Mike Rowe

He's most famous for his show, Dirty Jobs, but he's part of several trade job advocacy groups.  He has a very interesting perspective and echoes much of what you are saying regarding the traditional college vs trade school route.

Here is segment when Mike Rowe was on Bill Maher.  Worth a watch:

05/13/2018 - 8:28pm Penn state is chasing Michigan.

Penn state has one good year people!!!

05/07/2018 - 6:15pm Obligatory reaction

So to whom will be finish second?

05/05/2018 - 1:19pm Benito Santiago is another obvious one in my mind

That few people talk about. I’m on my phone so I can embed an image, but look at the before/after pictures of him earlier in his career vs later. Also, I think he played until he was like 43.

05/04/2018 - 8:50pm Graduated high school the western suburbs of Chicago

My high school is/was one of the top public high schools in Chicago. The motto we had in high school for UofC: the place where fun goes to die.

05/02/2018 - 12:09pm Anyone who gets triggered...

...by the term SJW gets an autoneg from me.

(Notice how I didn’t really give you a neg)

05/01/2018 - 8:03pm Do you mean Banfields?

Nm

05/01/2018 - 6:00pm Touchdowns

Not Skeeps.

05/01/2018 - 2:26pm Which version of Mitch’s?

Nm

05/01/2018 - 2:25pm Del rio was good

I worked at Arbor Brewing Company and they had a very strict rule about having a drink on the job. So, on our breaks we’d go down to the Del Rio and say that we work at ABC and are on break, they would give us a free drink.

04/30/2018 - 9:38am I know that guy well

I hang with him and his family quite often during the fall. He’s from Midland FYI.

04/28/2018 - 12:50pm I’m here for the Mo Hurst complaining

Just kidding (kinda). I’m surprised as anyone, but reading between the tweets etc, I’m not sure he’ll get drafted.

04/24/2018 - 2:36pm Got it.

Carry on good friend.

04/24/2018 - 1:29pm Isaac Haas?

Did I miss him somewhere in there?

04/23/2018 - 9:29am Using guns in a malicious manner is no joke

Using guns as a prop for Jay Feely is a joke.

04/23/2018 - 9:00am This was posted and deleted yesterday

But while this post is still up, I’d add that this is no big deal IMO. Kinda funny to be honest. Edgy and promotes discussion.

But political nut jobs will be sure to end this thread soon.

04/18/2018 - 10:18pm You mean back room?

If so, then yes it’s still there and a slice of cheese is still $1, but now it’s quite possibly the worst pizza ever. A slice of cheese was $1 back when I was an UG (mid to late 90s) and it was pretty good then. 20 years later and a slice is still $1. Something’s gotta give. The slice is much smaller and the quality is crap.

04/18/2018 - 9:19pm Me: I would like an order of sesame chicken

OE: Ok, 5 minute

Me: what?! 5 min?! No, please cook it longer!

04/17/2018 - 6:26pm You forgot “grit”

And “high football IQ”

04/15/2018 - 11:05pm Maybe

But they were targeting the “ingredients” for the weapons. Much more effective.

04/15/2018 - 10:55pm Michigan BS in Biochemistry here

So based on the intel they are telling folks, they are targeting plants that are making either excipients or API for the deadly chemical.  Doing this, prevents them from making the final product that is used for chemical warfare.  What' more, when you target an API plant, you bascially vaporize the deadly compound into something inert.  For example, the melting point for sarin is very low, so blasting it with an explosive will essentially "kill" its deadliness.

Also, sarin is hard to maintain.  If you can raise the pH just a little then it degrades into a non-lethal sustance.

04/14/2018 - 7:57am What house?

I lived at 606 packard

04/11/2018 - 10:00am Small quibble

The writing was on the wall when CJ Baird started stealing his minute

04/09/2018 - 5:24pm Buenos Aires?!

Didn’t expect to see that here. With the currency and economy issues and everything.

04/05/2018 - 10:04pm So...

...to whom are we coming in second place?

(sorry, too soon?)

04/05/2018 - 4:16pm Yikes!

We’re going there today, huh?

04/01/2018 - 4:21pm This blog’s creator, Brian...

...said a couple years ago that the JB regime was going to end in giant wet fart noise. Maizen was no doubt overly negative (and kinda of ass), but his general feelings were pretty consistent with lots of folks around here, including this blog’s creator.

03/31/2018 - 10:00pm Japanese girls...

...are easy.

03/30/2018 - 7:25am What’s more played out?

The “Oakland still in play” jokes or the “shark fucker” memes?

03/29/2018 - 7:46pm Seriously disappointed

Can’t believe no one can find that photo by now. This place is going downhill.

/s

03/27/2018 - 3:53pm Maybe I missed it...

...but not a single Michigan player on that list. It seems like most of all tourney teams were represented.

03/14/2018 - 5:03pm UofI is not THAT far down state

It’s about 140 miles from downtown Chicago. About the same distance from Ann Arbor to Grand Rapids. Although it is different than Chicago, but that is to be expected

03/11/2018 - 4:45pm Then I stand corrected.

Nm

03/11/2018 - 4:01pm It also didn’t help...

...that we tried to do the same thing by playing super fast.

03/11/2018 - 4:00pm They shot the ball with 10 seconds of getting the ball

And they were on fire. When they got the ball, they basically ran down the court and shot the bell right away. They passed the ball maybe once or twice per possession. The shot clock rarely got below 25 seconds (35 second shot clock back then).

That was their style all year. And with the passing of hank the bank, they were a team of destiny.

03/03/2018 - 12:14pm Never heard of Ann Arbor brewing

But I have heard of Arbor Brewing.

03/03/2018 - 10:34am Shark jokes are old

They too have jumped the shark.

02/28/2018 - 7:48pm *sight

Nm

02/27/2018 - 11:27am It’s surprising how good our team is...

...yet lacks so much presence in post season awards.

02/26/2018 - 5:06pm Yikes!

That was quite aggressive. I may have giggled a little.

02/24/2018 - 12:06pm And in case no one can make the connection

Crean was an assistant coach go Izzo, correct?

02/24/2018 - 11:30am Thanks?

I guess
