"easy for them to read and go through their progressions"
Progressions would be something like: Receiver X > Receiver Y > RB rolling out to flat > Tuck it and run.
Normally there would probably be a couple reads for each option (e.g. receiver X has his man beat, no safety help over the top = throw the post)
What is it that makes that offense easier to read? Fewer progression to go through (e.g. rolling out to the right, is receiver X open? throw, else tuck and run)? Or do multiple progressions read off the same player (e.g. Is the nickle/HSP doing X then throw to receiver X, else throw to receiver Y)?

He took down Dave Brandon.
Some off those emails that Brandon responded to with "you're drunk, go to bed" and "have a nice life" were to a family member of his IIRC.
He gave them to MGBlog, the boards were vicious, drove Devotee away. Turns out it was all true. Remdemption, return, all the MGoPoints.

|09/16/2014 - 1:02pm||I'm not sure we can agree||
We'd have to look at the expected points from each if those field positions (which I believe has a direct relationship to adjusted win probability).
Using the advancedfootballanalytics.com Win Percentage Calculator to get a Expected Point value (I left the Game State at 5:00 left in 1st, no spread, but I don't think that should affect the expected points):
Your Group A then has Expected Points of (1.25, 1.37, 1.44, 1.44, 1.51) average of 1.40 points. Group B would have Expected Points of (.90, .90, .95, 1.00, 2.66) for an average of 1.28 points.
So without some hand - waving about momentum (isnt there a Mathlete article about that?)I don't know how you argue that Group A is preferable.
Still, that could have just been a bad choice of example datasets.

|08/18/2014 - 2:49pm||Sack Yards?||
I thought around this blog we went with the sack yardage as counting against passing, not rushing.
just looking at the box score, seems like it was 90 yards rushing. -65 rushing yards on Clausen (sacks), and -31 rushing yards for "team". Is that more sacks?

|10/07/2012 - 9:29pm||RE: Purdue's Shoes||
I watched the game with a Purdue alum, which made watching the game all the more enjoyable. I asked the same question and was informed:
Similar to the 3rd down key shaking that people seem to be okay with or think it's the worst thing ever, Purdue brings out the keys for kickoff. If a student doesn't have keys to shake around they have to take off their shoe and wave it around instead.

|09/08/2012 - 12:30pm||RE: Mississippi State||
I recently moved down to Huntsvill , AL for an engineering job. So I see a decent amount of Miss State grads (in fact my boss is one). As I understand, they are none of the best engineering schools in the SEC, but still not at the level of Michigan, Purdue, or other Big 10 schools.

|07/05/2012 - 3:08pm||Waiting in Line||
I haven't been able to go to Cedar Point since going middle of the week in May back when we got out early as seniors in high school.
You're not allowed to stay on a ride, but the only wait was the time it took you to walk back around the line.
So how can I justify standing in line for 2 hours for Dragster, when I was once able to ride it 5 times, along with Millennium 3 times, and Magnum 4, within the same amount if time?
