It is pretty impressive that quite a few of our recruits got to their state championship game. These kids are used to winning so hopefully that will rub off when they get to Michigan.

If a player is reading the Michigan message boards I hope he doesn't take to heart what he reads. I think you hit the nail on the head when you talked about the coaches selling the university. These coaches know the inner workings and more than you or I about everything that a recruit will be afforded if they come to Michigan.
Nobody wants to be disliked and if a fanbase is not behind the possibility of a certain player coming to Michigan I'm sure that can effect the ego of a recruit. However, I would hope that while recruiting these players what the coaches said would hold more importance than what a disgruntled or enthusiastic group of fans said.

This is an interesting thread I have come across. From watching his film Carvin looks to be a rare commodity in the Michigan family. He is a safety with good instincts and a willingness to be the hammer. Not every so called "sleeper" will turn into a Michigan great but the more talent we stock at each position the better chance we have of hitting paydirt.

It seems as though Pryor was failed by the teachers he had before he became a buckeye. It this is real then it is truly sad. Worst of all he will probably end up making millions of dollars even though he is probably at an 8th grade level for most things. When you put too much emphasis on sports this is what happens.
