Weren't they in the Marines?

I agree that seeing the up…

I agree that seeing the up-and-coming players could be more interesting than watching the players that are headed out. Plus, we have a built-in excuse if we lose, haha... our best players didn't play. Still a little surprised that Hill is sitting out though and entering draft. I have a feeling he'll be a late round pick.

All I can say is trust…

All I can say is trust Warinner and make sure he's getting 50% over the going salary of his peers.

I agree that we'll should be…

I agree that we'll should be fine and won't have a big test for a few weeks to see if that's true. One of the biggest issues I saw was tackling. ND made tackles on the first attempt in many cases while Michigan guys were swings off ND players. Eubanks, DPJ and a few others could've had decent YAC if they just broke the initial tackles.

Conditioning. Stamina. Grit.

Not many have talked about Michigan's conditioning but I see a team that finishes strong and doesn't seem to get tired - I assume because they went through more intense conditioning. I'm not sure how Nova will take on a physical aggressive team but we cannot do much worse than Kansas and I think we'll do much better. Go Blue!

Too many 3's?

Of all those teams, Michigan shot the most. I feel like we were driving a lot more at the end of the year and have settled for jumpshots in the NCAA tourney. Maybe they were hoping outside shots would open up the drives but may need to drive to open up the outside shot (and shot rhythm).

14 point tourney win = good

I'll always take a 14 point win even if it was somewhat brutal in many ways. We could've easily scored another 15 or 20 (open 3 misses plus lazy fast breaks) if not rusty and with the stoppage in my opinion and had a 30 point win.

Now in Round of 32 I can't see Gray going off for another career high so someone else will need to step up for Houston. They played a much more grueling game and I think we'll see our rested players pay off Saturday night at 9:40 (or 10:20).

What are you going to do about it?

I personally don't feel like I have any power that will help the situation with Michigan other than hope next year is much better... which I think it will be. If I could work out harder or study some film and make something happen I'd give it a try. Other than that I won't dwell or let it ruin my day/week/new year. We are competitive, have two 10-win seasons in the past 3.

Do you want another coaching staff? If so, who?

One kinda bad & 2 pretty good years

If next year is a complete 5-7 dumpster fire then you'll hear an uproar I'm sure. If we lose our bowl game 52-14 like in 2010 against Mississippi State you'll hear an uproar. For now, I will not stress about this seaon and have faith that next year will be another 10 win season and if not I would be more in the fire and re-hire camp.

If you look at 3 years of games under Harbaugh, only 2 of the losses were out of control. All others came down to a few mistakes (not that I like them) but were very winnable games.

Agreed

I just support and move on. If next year is as bad or worse I'd support getting rid of some or all staff but I don't think it will be as bad.

I do wish I could be a factor in them winning. Maybe if I wear a certain shirt or worked out harder the football gods would attribute that hard work to Michigan football and we'd be better. But, I assume that doesn't do anything so I won't stress about out team's loss.

Go Blue!

40 inch vertical

He has a 40 inch vertical and shuttle time as fast as top DBs, WRs and RBs. Maybe a Mike Alstott or he should play LB like Iowa had him pegged.

He's a bully

He does play like a bully and we'll see if it translates over. I think it's a combo of him being big, strong and somewhat fast and competition being much lesser (plus highlights are highlights and there is a lot of video not there).

Have to throw to win

Peters has to hit a few big plays and we have to hold the ball a bit for the win. If not, I'm afraid we lose and they pull away late. If we hold the ball for over 30 minutes I think it comes down to the end in a semi-boring and low-scoring game.

That's a yes

I do believe that he is saying, yes our Dline is getting held left and right with that answer. I however think that JH is learning not to call out ref's too much with the penalties we've had against us this year.

Touch and pocket presence

I liked what I saw. Haven't seen that good of touch from a Michigan QB in a while. He also flowed good in the pocket. This is a maybe an outlier case of the second string QB coming through big but we all figured out Okorn just couldn't execute.

I agree especially with Brady recruiting portion

We are bad at offensive line. We have had many bad offensive line recruiting classes. We need to focus there until we MAKE THE OFFENSIVE LINE GREAT AGAIN.

Blame all around

I think it's tough to pinpoint where the problem stems especially if you're just watching on TV. I get frustrated with Speight but young receivers have had a few issues, the line isn't blocking great for the run game and playcalling has had issues. Overall, 3-0 giving up less than 17 points their games and top 10 isn't all bad.

Bovine growth hormone

It's in all our food if you don't try to avoid it. He probably doesn't eat grass fed beef or whole milk.
