I'm not really worried about

I'm not really worried about it. There's only a few chances every year to see a game in Michigan Stadium.

The only thing that would worry me is a home game against sparty, ohio, or even nebraska later in the year. Say we're sub .500 against one of those teams and the stadium looks like the Cowboys game. That'd be tough to see. We don't play anybody with that type of fanbase besides PSU, but our fans will fill it up for a night game.

No, you go for it. Kicking a

No, you go for it. Kicking a FG for the sole purpose of a dumbass streak would have been weak as hell.

Based on most of the topics

Based on most of the topics here, it seems people are bitching just to bitch. That's understandable at the moment, but again, if we're winning it's stuff almost nobody is complaining about.

Personally, I don't care what numbers they wear. Everyone knew when they gave Countess #2 that he wasn't Charles.

This is silly. If Hoke was

This is silly. If Hoke was winning games, you'd love the way he treats the press.

Stopped at point #1 because

Stopped at point #1 because that's false. We could move the ball at will against Delaware State and Indiana, but we couldn't do shit against good defenses. RR's offense was fool's gold.

That is absolutely

That is absolutely fantastic.

Overreact much, people?

Overreact much, people?

I have to say, I really don't

I have to say, I really don't miss the canned answers from coach (not just Hoke, they're all the same that way). "Yeah, Jim, that was a good run" doesn't really do much for me. Also, the preview of the upcoming opponent is rather useless. Maybe there are more fans not like me, but I know ND's roster pretty well and learn/see nothing new from the old Inside Michigan Football format.

I do think they could improve a bit, but this was the first episode of its kind. Too much slo-mo replay for my taste. Could probably use that time to show more real-speed highlights, more sideline interaction, show features, etc. In general, though, the sideline stuff was awesome and it has me more fired up about next week than an old IMF. Not that I didn't like the old format.

Wangler.

Wangler.

Woodson's hit was better, but

Woodson's hit was better, but Countess' hit did remind me of it right away.

This fanbase cries about

This fanbase cries about everything. Whaaaa Joey was mean to us!

Tremendous. A selection of

Tremendous. A selection of three shirts that have been out since 2008. Some of us like to buy new clothes. I am one of those people and I could always count on nike to release a couple good looking shirts every season. Adidas puts out new garbage every season.

Yeah, I don't really feel to

Yeah, I don't really feel too bad. I don't root for injuries, but the kid still has a future in the NFL. He'll be fine.

Meanwhile, I don't feel bad at all for their fans. Ohio has cheated, lied, etc their way into one of the best coaches in the nation and a 24 game win streak. It's about damn time they've had some bad luck.

This reminds me of Drew Henson. Potential heisman QB returning for his senior year and boom, he's gone. I know that wasn't injury related, but same results.

Once again, a hype video that

Once again, a hype video that understands the purpose of a hype video. No depressing music or depressing highlights of teams whipping our asses for 5 minutes.

Awesome work. Thank you.

No need to apologize for

No need to apologize for liking these. You do, however, need to apologize for wanting maize uniforms, walmart.

That might be possible if it

That might be possible if it wasn't for all that UTL advertising that goes with it.

CARTWRIGHT! FOUR!

CARTWRIGHT! FOUR!

I'm going to assume that's a

I'm going to assume that's a picture of C'sonte York in the article, but the MICHIGAN on the front of the helmet is so distracting I can't even tell who that is.  CLUTTER!!

lol perfect.

Solid overreaction.

I don't think you need to

I don't think you need to watch a TV show to know what a pornstache is.

I'd rather watch 6 yard gains

I'd rather watch 6 yard gains than our guys getting their butts kicked. Not sure what's wrong with that, but you seem quite butt hurt over it.

Gotta say that's one of the

Gotta say that's one of the better hype videos I've seen in a while. Excellent work!

It seems most "hype" videos follow the same 'show sad and depressing highlights with sad and depressing music for the first half, then put some highlights and a song about overcoming the odds for the second half' format. It was a cool concept at first and really worked, but eventually I grew tired of seeing us get our asses kicked in our hype video. Some of them are really well done, but I just can't take it.

So, thank you for making this one.

I don't understand the

I don't understand the Clark/Taco comparison. Those two don't even play the same position right now (WDE and SDE, respectively).

Manny Harris for sure.

Manny Harris for sure.

More of the same from adidas.

More of the same from adidas. There's no doubt nike put out some awful stuff too, but they had a couple really nice designs for each line too. This stuff is so walmart'y. That shirt says "Respect He Maize and Blue". What?

The yellow jacket is decent and convenient for maize outs. Of course, it's 80 bucks, but since I won't be buying much gear it makes it affordable. Way to go, adidas!

Wow this is a lot of arguing

Wow this is a lot of arguing over 1 and 1/2 inches (insert joke here).

Players on every roster are listed as taller and heavier than they really are. I'm not sure why it's even being talked about. When I see Peppers listed as 6'1 on rivals or mgoblue, I naturally assume he's 5'11 or 6'0. That's plenty tall enough for his position, especially considering his strength. If he were a QB I'd worry a bit.

I don't think it's strange at

I don't think it's strange at all when the kid is 5'9 165 as a sophomore. He probably should have RS as a frosh but either he didn't want to or the coaches thought they needed him.

As a recruit I remember Richardson talking about playing early, so maybe he needed a year to see for himself that a RS year would help.

Cool. Just had three players

Cool. Just had three players drafted and we're talking soccer.

Nobody thinks it affects how

Nobody thinks it affects how one plays, but the blog post was about jersey numbers. It's funny that you guys are so mad people are commenting on what the post was about.

Well, the blog entry was all

Well, the blog entry was all about numbers, no? Seems like a fair time to comment on how you feel about numbers. JMO.

Because someone who doesn't

Because someone who doesn't want half of a Michigan blog to be about soccer has to be trolling, right?

I get that it's the off-season and that the site gets off-topic, but it's annoying as fuck to scroll through all this bullshit.

Always a bit skeptical about

Always a bit skeptical about off-season head turning. I swear the Lions writers said for two or three years that Patrick Edwards was tearing it up in camp. Still good to hear though. It's better than not hearing anything at all.

You've spent a lot of time

You've spent a lot of time thinking about this. Get a hobby.

Anyone who gets confused about ohio bobcats and the bucks are pretty fuggin dumb. Do you always have to specify Miami OH from Miami FL? Pretty easy to know which team is being talked about after thinking for two consecutive seconds.

It's not supposed to be clever or a huge troll IMO. It's just a way to refer to the school. They call to themselves as ohio quite a bit. Hell, on their gold pants it says "ohio".

What's with all the World Cup

What's with all the World Cup stuff? WGAF?

Lol whenever people talk

Lol whenever people talk about the fall of the NBA I have no idea wtf they're talking about. My guess is you know very little about basketball. Probably saw a couple "easy" layups and immediately assumed players were being "lazy". Just the typical old white person narrative.

The game evolves. Who cares if there's not as many good big men? There aren't many Walter Payton 'carry the ball 30 times a game' RBs in the NFL these days, but people don't talk about how bad the product is. Simple minded thinking is a *you* problem, not a league problem. When you watch a game 5 years from now, think about why you see an easy layup. Maybe it's because there are 4 (sometimes 5) legit threats to make a shot from 20 feet out? Maybe the defense has to respect that, opening up the lane. Maybe you don't see that in college because nobody can f*cking shoot? THINK.

The 35 second clock needs to

The 35 second clock needs to be shortened. A team of 5 D-1 athletes shouldn't need 35 freaking seconds to shoot a good basketball shot. Maybe instead of running so much clock, folks would run an actual offense and get into it ASAP.

I'm just now hearing of this?

I'm just now hearing of this? Great job by the media.

Appreciate everything Brandon

Appreciate everything Brandon does, but I'd be shocked if we signed any of those guys.

It'd be great if we could all

It'd be great if we could all drop the spelling of uniforms with a z. It's not clever or cute anymore. So, thank you to the OP.

Really? Youth isn't a factor

Really? Youth isn't a factor now? We have one upperclassmen starting and he's a walk on. Kind of funny to me how much we've changed as fans since Carr. In 2007, nobody would be saying this OL isn't extremely young.

Nobody will be happy with

Nobody will be happy with 8-4. You're making things up and it makes me want to scream.

I enjoy playing golf, but

I enjoy playing golf, but it's tough to watch on TV unless Tiger is making a push. Nobody else on the tour interests me. I won't be watching this year.

I came to ask the same thing.

I came to ask the same thing. I loved the move. Taco has the size to hold up in the run, but also has the ability to provide some pass rush. I never really thought he'd stay at WDE his entire career.

I don't want a lesser QB just

I don't want a lesser QB just to start a class. It's too important of a position. I want Malzone to get an offer when the coaches are confident he can be successful here.

We heard you the first time.

We heard you the first time. You've had just about enough of the hype!

We know practice reports are full of crap, for the most part. However, it's the off-season and this stuff was tweeted out today. It's been passed along and we're discussing it. It's a positive sign that a young kid is doing well. Nobody is saying he's DeSean Jackson.

Your little tag line is cute and all, but if you're not going to be able to discuss football for the next five months without being a vagina, you should probably just give this up.

This shouldn't need ot be

This shouldn't need to be explained, but physically it's just more difficult for OL to come in right away and make a huge impact.

They're completely different positions, so we react differently to them. Pretty straight forward stuff...
