Way freakin' noice.

04/12/2011 - 9:14pm From the post

I quoth:

"The game could have been ugly early but Hutch put the breaks on. She made changes early to allow the reserves players some reps."

Uhhh, hello?

04/09/2011 - 11:08pm That's easy

Not enough.

Actually, went from Oberon to Wolverine Beer when it was 2-1. Helped for a little while.
Shawn Hunwick will never buy a drink at any bar in which I am drinking. Hope the rest of his birthdays are better than this one. Dude has stones.

04/07/2011 - 1:10pm Great player

Great human being.

Thoughts and prayers to his family.

02/23/2011 - 8:26pm uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

02/17/2011 - 1:07pm MGoWhatever

Love the convention of prefacing any worthy noun with "MGo" (e.g. "MGoEnemies" above).

02/14/2011 - 4:01pm Root against MSU?

Really? Do we have to? Oh, all right...

01/15/2011 - 4:48pm Rosenberg was on Facebook.

I updated my status -- my father passed away last night. Rosie sent me a very nice, heartfelt message. No lie.

01/12/2011 - 10:52pm Great story

I felt compelled to chime in and show off my bitchin' new avatar.

01/12/2011 - 12:55pm And you won't

Per the Michigan Daily, Tate is not enrolled this semester. Rut roh.

01/12/2011 - 12:40pm Aggressive

2.5

12/30/2010 - 7:17pm Quite a record

Doubt that will ever be topped.

12/30/2010 - 7:16pm I hope you brought enough for everyone

12/21/2010 - 5:24pm Online wishes

I've seen a few commentators and CFB congnoscenti sending JoePa "Happy Birthday" wishes on Twitter.

This is roughly akin to writing it in watercolors at the bottom of the ocean. He'll have about as much chance to read it there.

No sugarcoat, he's a legend. My dad's 85 and I see the resemblances. Hope they both have many more years of good health.

12/15/2010 - 2:17pm Think it was Ralph Wiggum

After the kids were freed from the summer camp catastrophe that was "Camp Krusty."

12/09/2010 - 12:44pm Sunny?

I know SoCal can be nice this time of year, but I doubt they'll be any sun at 8 p.m. local time on Dec. 10. Just sayin'...

12/08/2010 - 1:24pm Learned this working at a golf course

Soil is the stuff in the ground from which turf, flowers, etc., grow.

Dirt is the stuff in your vacuum bag.

Also, "turf" is the green stuff in your yard and on a golf course. "Grass" is rolled and smoked (or baked into brownies, I guess).

Hope that helps...

12/07/2010 - 5:25pm MSU has other priorities

No. 2-ranked basketball team is playing at The Palace in Auburn Hills earlier in the day. Hockey team will probably lose.

Warm in the Palace, cold outside. Do the math. Not excusing them, because it is (possbily) a once-in-a-lifetime event, but the mojo is more with hoops than hockey for them.

12/06/2010 - 5:07pm MSU returned tickets?

I heard MSU returned some of their tickets(!).

More tickets for Michigan fans. Should be a decisive home-ice advantage.

11/12/2010 - 3:40pm Another YouTube of bagpipes

This one incorporates the slide show on the video boards with an extended version of the pipes doing "Amazing Grace."

Warning: The room gets a little dusty as this rolls on. Very powerful.

11/12/2010 - 12:15pm Didn't like at first blush

I do like the homage to the '47 unis, though.

And it's MAIZE. W00t!

11/11/2010 - 12:01pm No argument

Yep, you are in need of child care, my friend.

11/11/2010 - 11:09am Solution: Bring the baby!

My 9-year-old son was in a Baby Bjorn for the Cold War game at Spartan Stadium when he was 5 months old. My wife carried him most of the game under a large pullover ski jacket. She stills takes great pride that we got him in to the game without a ticket.

A big coat should keep everyone comfy. Good luck!

08/26/2010 - 1:01pm Toughest job you'll ever love

Best to you and your new family. Your life will never be the same, and that's OK.

08/24/2010 - 5:10pm Link, por favor?

Please and thank you.

07/27/2010 - 12:29pm Kindred spirits

JeremyB,

In my five years in the MMB, I got to lead a line out of the tunnel one time -- the 1986 loss to Minnesota on Chip Lohmiller's last-second FG. I went 2-3 in bowl games (wins @ Fiesta vs. NEB and @ Hall of Fame vs. ALA). Did get to run out of Ohio Stadium the following week knowing we were going to the Rose Bowl (thanks to Harbaugh's guarantee).

Four NCAA hoop tournaments, never made it past the Sweet 16.

07/20/2010 - 11:00am Another possible reason...

...is that Dan Gilbert is a complete loon.

07/16/2010 - 2:54pm My first reaction to this thread title...

More wins.

Sorry.

That is all.

07/16/2010 - 2:47pm Also Borders on Lohr Road

Right there at the cash registers. So don't even think about MGoShopliftin'.

07/01/2010 - 10:32am "I don't agree with what he did ...

... but I understand."

05/31/2010 - 8:52pm Thanks, TMDTH

All gave some. Some gave all...

05/26/2010 - 4:33pm Or do you mean...

Sharpe?

05/20/2010 - 10:57pm 4

I have two sons that I hope one day will be 2s (and eventually 4s).

05/07/2010 - 1:23pm Fact check

We pilfered them Cornell cheers in 1991. It was U-M's first NCAA appearance in 14 years.

04/29/2010 - 12:39pm Rooted for Montreal

And I love Morrison and Knuble. All of those years watching HNIC has clearly left its mark.

04/29/2010 - 12:30pm Falk's been here before

In my college days, both Mike and Mark Hammerstein were on the squad. Both had their full names spelled out, letters quite squished together. Fortunately, both young men were quite large.

04/27/2010 - 1:52pm It's all good

Yes, yes she does.

Thanks. Thought there might be some interest in this.

04/27/2010 - 1:50pm No, you're wrong

Spent less than half my life in academia (graduated at 22, I'm 44 -- yeah that's about right).

My initals are PHD.

And I stand by original point that "tremendous" fundraisers (esp. those who are iconic former football players) are rarely dismissed for performance issues.

04/27/2010 - 1:36pm Not an activist...

And, modesty aside, my wife of almost 11 years could school any U-M co-ed in the affection department.

FTR, found about the FB group from none other than Carl Grapentine. So there's that...

04/27/2010 - 11:38am Not to be douchey

But if he had been "tremendous" I doubt he would have been let go.

Just sayin'...

04/22/2010 - 9:21pm I used to live in Philly

That town luuuvs them some Eagles. If Brandon can be all he can be there, he will own that town.

Best of luck, Brandon. Glad you went to a good team. And thanks!

04/13/2010 - 9:56pm That depends...

Do you know what "plethora" means? How can you say he had a "plethora" of points if you do not know what "plethora" means??

+1 for Three Amigos.

04/12/2010 - 4:42pm Short answer

Yes.

04/01/2010 - 2:32pm Were money no object

I would be right there with you Ted. Great post.

Unfortunately, money is an object. An object I do not possess in great enough quantity. Enjoy!

03/31/2010 - 12:13pm Link?

Link.

03/30/2010 - 10:22am Disagree. Respectfully.

Foster needs neither a "fisking" or a "fisting."

He just needs to be ignored.

03/29/2010 - 3:43pm Representin'

I got tickets in the NCAA lottery a year ago. A month ago, it looked like the worst $750 I ever spent. It still feels bad after last night's kick to the dong.

I'll go to the semis, since I work in The D and there are 2 games that day. Don't think I can bring myself to drive in to the city to watch the final on Saturday night. I hope to meet a deep-pocketed fan of one of the semifinal winners.

And I'll definitely be sporting my Michigan hockey jersey. We have everything to be proud of.

03/29/2010 - 12:02pm C ya! (Fondly)

Manny and Peedi
Brought us a win in The Dance
Best of luck, you guys

03/27/2010 - 10:30pm It's official

We've run out of things to talk about...

03/27/2010 - 9:44pm PING!!

Thank you, Post!

Let's get it done on the PK...
