I agree with this except I would also tell him some people might not like his design and tell him to ignore both types of kids. I'd tell him how proud I was of his creativity and and dedication and if anyone doesn't like it, that's their problem not yours. And if he starts to question his efforts when stupid kids are stupid, I'd show him the msu mountain dew uniforms designed by supposed professionals and let him know I'd choose his design over that every day of the week!
This kid sounds like a perfect fit for Gattis and company. But, yikes, I hope he stays healthy. It would be nice to have him arrive in Ann Arbor with all his body parts in place!
Umm ok. Last I checked teams and programs were made of individual real people. It makes sense to be proud of the team but not the individual people? Whatever.
I would rather have 60 healthy guys in Lansing today than 59 and a cheerleader, even if the cheerleader is Gary. I would rather have a fully healthy Gary against PSU or even later for OSU than a marginal Gary for today. And given what we know about what a quality person Gary is, there is zero reason at this point to project anything negative on him for this. Maybe it'll look different at the end of the season but I would be very surprised.
Think of how many important games we would have won if we just eliminated the first quarter. I'm recommending the coaching staff begin numbering away game quarters as 2,3,4,5 for the team and problem is solved!
Here's a fact. Urban Liar, fired Zach Smith. Why? Why now? Why lie about 2015? As you rightly observe, the Smiths seem really messed up to you and everyone else. But Urban didn't see it until just this year? Fact, he let this slime ball coach young men under him for years. If he has any integrity and honesty and cares about this stuff now, why hasn't it been important the last nine years or so? The man is a joke as a leader.

are you suggesting the FSU defense will hit speight differently depending on if they think his shoulder is 100%? seems like hitting a QB shoulder given the right opportunity would be something a defense would do regardless...
so yeah, the definition of 100% means completely healthy and the prior injury is no longer an issue. if the prior injury was still an issue he wouldn't be 100%
what you said was "even if he is 100%" he won't be if he gets hit a few times. that may or may not actually be true depending on the hits but is a stupid statement since it applies to every quarterback that plays the game. we all already also understand that if O'Korn has to come in we could be in trouble. not a terribly enlightening insight there either I'm afraid.
Well now I get it! if Harris only becomes a reality if he comes here, that's some big time incentive for him and his family. At least we won't ever have to play against him if he doesn't come here since he won't exist :)
but I don't get the whole "if not now then when" thing. after two years of Harbaugh and one of Don Brown and ranked in the top five in the country and recruiting at a very high level, there is literally nothing to suggest this will be our best offense or defense going forward.
we lost on a last second field goal AT Iowa and by 4 points in double overtime AT osu and allowed a total of 10 offensive points by them in regulation. i love Don Brown and am no longer afraid of OSU. And while I agree we have a ton of talent this year, who the heck developed that talent in the two short years. A lot of these same guys did not look so talented two years ago under Hoke. I'm struggling with the loss too, but the future looks tremendously bright to me.

Bolt is absolutely the best at running fast but there's not much endurance required and not near as much technique required or things that could go wrong. From starts, to turns every 50 meters, to pacing yourself, to making all the right strokes when the competition may specialize on one, to having to swim a race and then another 30 stinking minutes later. Phelps is easily the most amazing to me.
maybe I'm misjudging your intent but whenever you mention these camps are at least partially or mostly about recruiting i think you're point is that part of the camp is a negative thing. both coaches and players with any kind of chance to play college football want it to be about recruiting. is there a negative there? not one person who's watched a Harbaugh camp has suggested there's no real teaching going on. in fact, just the opposite. so why exactly do we keep arguing about the degree of recruiting that's going on?
but saying you don't care about the camps is saying you don't care about the kids going to the camps. They go together and he showed how self centered he is in his comments.
All I've heard is what a quality person Gary is on and off the field. And the more I hear about his mom the more it confirms that she deserves a great deal of credit for it.

As much as I absolutely love Harbaugh as our coach I really think this is one area that the coach needs some coaching. I had the privilege of working at Steelcase while Hackett was CEO and I believe he would be the perfect guy to do it. I'm hoping he will.
