Don't get me started on the stupid black jersey. Those things were atrocious and will forever remind me of getting our ass kicked by the Rams on MNF.
They have benefited big time by leaving. Take a look at their recruiting and the money they receieve from the SEC Network (probably helped upgrade their stadium, which is now 4th largest in the nation). Big 12 has become a joke since A&M and Nebraska left.

Ray has been known to say a lot of dumb things on the radio. He wanted to hire Jim Tressel and at one point said Butch Jones would be a better hire than Harbaugh.
