Take a walk to the tunnel area and see if it's open or if anyone is working in there. Sometimes they will let you in to take pics from field level. No guarantees, but I've gotten on to the field numerous times by doing so. Have fun!
I believe Schembechler Hall offers free tours of Towsley Museum (Football museum) on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-4pm. Contains a bunch of cool stuff from the history of Michigan football. I've been a couple times and it's a pretty cool experience
