I'm not saying that we directly influence the outcome of games. I was just expressing my thought about a lower tier team coming in and everyone chalking this one up as a blow out. Just my opinion nothing more and we have all seen plenty of underdogs take a win this season already. With that said I believe we will see plenty of snaps with our second string playing.
Agree with you. I can understand the coaches being hesitant on putting him at another position mainly because he is the one person on the team that has proven to be a play maker on any given play. I'd love to see a set where Bellomy comes in at qb Gardner at wr and denard in the back field. Maybe set up a screen pass and get him in the open field where he can work his magic. Last night was the closest thing to a true pro style offense we have ran and it blew up in our face.
I say bring on a top notch school. Like some of the others have said, the recruits we are getting will be at their peak and we will likely be somewhere near the top. Even if we drop one or two games that year we could still have a chance at the play offs and we will only get better by playing better opponents.
Maybe he said that because Ohio fans have been bragging up their DL commits have been better than ours and concede that our OL recruits are better. Now Hoke & co are showing them that we will out recruit them on both sides of the line
I agree. The coaches will not offer kids unless they either see qualities they want or at a minimum someone that has a lot of potential. Regardless of what the recruiting services say you don't get a full ride scholarship to a top tier football team unless you can play. They could list all ur recruits as 1 stars for all I care but we all know we have some play makers and that will reflect on the field
10 out of 18 kids in our class are listed as a top ten player at their position in the nation. I'm thrilled with the way the coaches are recruiting. We all have seen Dawson dominate at camps but I'm not upset that he's not listed at #1. Kugler is so in a couple years they will battle it out and let us know for sure
