That goddamned man-ass ad. Please make it go away. I have clicked the "report this ad" at least a dozen times now, with multiple selections as to why I don't want to have a man-ass on my screen. Yet there it is, every damn time. Stop it.

other stuff that I'm not remembering now.

06/13/2018 - 2:57pm They did a fairly long…

They did a fairly long period of beta testing, from my understanding. You would think all of these issues would have been addressed before taking the new site live, but wtf do I know? I'm not very tech savvy.

06/13/2018 - 2:53pm I missed handle jacking…

I missed handle jacking people on Halo-scan after the first change, but that was it. The second version was far superior, and seems like it was apparent pretty quickly. But that could be my memory distorting things, it's been a while.

06/13/2018 - 12:10pm Old, by miles and miles. I…

Old, by miles and miles. I really, really loathe the new site so far. I get that there are bugs (so many bugs) to work out, and maybe it'll grow on me. But as of today... kill it with fire.

06/12/2018 - 8:50pm Oh, and after you comment,…

Oh, and after you comment, it's cool how it just takes you to the very end of the whole thread. Then you get to go back to edit, but nope, can't edit. So you have to comment to your comment, even if it's just to vent about having to do exactly that.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

06/12/2018 - 8:48pm Agreed. Probably my biggest…

Agreed. Probably my biggest gripe (other than general look/layout). That's exactly how I used to follow threads.

Another super annoying thing; I started to reply to your comment, then decided not to. Click back, and it goes to the middle of page one of this thread. WTF? It does this if you're on say, page four of a thread and click back also.

There are so many damn things that don't work, I'm pretty stunned it was decided to go ahead with the roll out. I guess the beta testing wasn't very rigorous.

06/12/2018 - 1:26pm The new site needs a LOT of…

The new site needs a LOT of work. There are just so many things that are not at all pleasing, difficult or impossible to use, and the "feel" is not great either, IMO.

I've been stopping in maybe once or twice a day, when historically I check in at least a dozen times, or more. I can't be the only one. I hope you guys are taking it seriously, but I don't see a lot of feedback from staff. Not a good look, again, in my opinion.

06/10/2018 - 9:30am I don't really care for the…

I don't really care for the new layout, like, at all. I didn't think that I would, given what the descriptions were when it was being discussed. I never liked Eleven Warrior's layout, at all, even a little bit.

Too much white space. I liked the old layout far better, as far as the feel goes.

I haven't used the new site enough to offer more.

I fear change.

06/04/2018 - 11:05am A "break-out year" is by

A "break-out year" is by default, big.

06/04/2018 - 10:36am Shocking.

Shocking.

06/04/2018 - 9:33am Because he would be walking

Because he would be walking away from the thing that he has been building, just as everything is falilng into place. I would not appreciate that in any way at all.

05/17/2018 - 12:59pm Obligatory

Scotty doesn't know.

05/17/2018 - 9:21am 90% of statistics are made up

90% of statistics are made up on the spot.

05/11/2018 - 8:36pm So much irony in this

So much irony in this thread.

05/11/2018 - 9:34am I disagree with much of that,

I disagree with much of that, but whatever.

05/10/2018 - 7:04pm Okay, that's one season, and

Okay, that's one season, and I don't disagree with you on that one. Others? They went, what, eight times?

05/10/2018 - 4:28pm Agreed on all counts.

Agreed on all counts.

05/10/2018 - 4:22pm Maybe. But I'd still point to

Maybe. But I'd still point to my original argument above, that the Bulls had a tougher path to the finals every year than either the GSW, or any of LJ's teams have. Maybe they wouldn't win, that's something we'll never know for sure.

05/10/2018 - 2:17pm The NBA still plays defense?

The NBA still plays defense?

05/10/2018 - 2:15pm In your opinion.

In your opinion.

05/10/2018 - 2:08pm I can't disagree with you on

I can't disagree with you on much of that.

05/10/2018 - 2:08pm Look at the quality of teams

Look at the quality of teams the Bulls had to go through to get to the finals, every year they went. Now compare against what LJ's teams have had to play against. Outside of Golden State, the old school Bull's teams would have destroyed all of them. And probably GS too.

05/10/2018 - 11:46am I mean

That narrative exists for a reason.

05/10/2018 - 11:43am Rodman didn't join the Bulls

Rodman didn't join the Bulls until very late in MJ's career. By that point, he had already peaked, and needed more help.

05/10/2018 - 11:42am You're arguing something that

You're arguing something that I didn't say. I said if you put MJ on any decent team today, he'd be demonstrably superior to LJ. I didn't say take the '96 bulls into the current league, though I may argue against your conclusion there too. Maybe. But that's not what I said.

And I don't think players are much more athletic today either. Stronger, perhaps, and maybe better conditioned, but that isn't the same as more athletic.

05/10/2018 - 11:31am Do you remember when his dad

Do you remember when his dad got killed? There was a reason, it wasn't random.

05/10/2018 - 11:24am It was. The story is out

It was. The story is out there, if you look.

05/10/2018 - 11:22am (No subject)

05/10/2018 - 11:10am Seriously

People lose perspective over time. There was much, much more parity in the NBA when Jordan was dominating. Put him on a decent team today, and he'd slay all.

05/10/2018 - 10:05am You mean what you just did?

You mean what you just did? Because I'd agree with that.

05/10/2018 - 10:04am Your take is bad, and you

Your take is bad, and you should feel bad. What if he's completely innocent? You still okay with your stance?

05/10/2018 - 10:02am Good job, Toby. The

Good job, Toby. The dissonance in your comment here is impressive.

I know, but you don't chew kif.

He's referring to khat.

05/06/2018 - 3:15pm There was a lot more parity

There was a lot more parity in the NBA back then.

05/04/2018 - 4:54pm Ahh, I see. Somehow I have

Ahh, I see. Somehow I have never watched any of that series. Thank you.

05/04/2018 - 12:27pm I'm going on really short

I'm going on really short sleep this week, can you give me a hint?

05/04/2018 - 10:29am Happy fifth of the fourth?

Happy fifth of the fourth? Alright, alright.

The translation you were going for would be "Cuatro de Mayo".

05/03/2018 - 9:05am While his comment was trash,

While his comment was trash, yours is pretty ironic.

05/02/2018 - 7:08pm You're doing that thing where

You're doing that thing where you put words in people's mouth's again. Please don't do that. I basically said none of those things. One was close, but not in the mark.

05/02/2018 - 7:06pm I think it is

But I'm not the arbiter. I think boys, and girls, respectively, are more comfortable learning new things without the slight pressure to impress the opposite sex. I think it injects a certain level of distraction that is unavoidable. That's a very healthy thing as well, and day to day living, and school systems provide plenty of that. I think there should also be a space for scouts as they have historically existed, for that reason and lots of others.

05/02/2018 - 7:02pm Bando

No need to get snarky with me. I was trying to discuss this, and said nothing disrespectful at all.  Definitely didn't get snarky with you. I asked a simple question, that certainly has bearing on our (up til your comment) conversation. Also, I freely said I hadn't read anything else about this. Clearly I responded here first, so your last two sentences there were a bit out of line. I saw it here first, and commented on it. Nothing I've seen here, or since would cause me to change anything I have said.

05/02/2018 - 6:54pm Cleaves

Didn't he have a sexual assault charge not too long ago in Flint?

05/02/2018 - 6:50pm Seems like more of a Kobe

Seems like more of a Kobe issue to me.

05/02/2018 - 2:36pm It was when I was growing up

It was when I was growing up too, but that time is long past. Things are a bit different today, as you may, or may not know. No offense, but if you don't have kids, then you just don't know.
