No thanks... As a season ticket holder I don't want turn into a popsicle.

06/07/2018 - 2:05pm Shelly Dubinski....She sure…

Shelly Dubinski....She sure filled out that sweater nicely!!!

05/22/2018 - 9:24am Ever hear of Colin Kaepernick?

Harbaugh revamped his entire offense to fit Kaepernick's atheletic ability and rode him to the Super Bowl. I think that's the plan here revamp the Michigan Offense and ride Patterson to the CFP/

05/15/2018 - 11:00am I agree.

Offensive players are penalized for cut blocks why not defnesive players?

This is a well thought out and lucid post, kudo's to you sir!

And to say that Hoke's recruiting is not to blame for last year's dropoff is purely absurd.

Let's look at he class of 2014 for a second those guys would have been the upperclassmen on last year's team.

Patrick Kugler OG

Kyle Bosch OG -xferred to WVU

Chris Fox OT -Retired from football

David Dawson - xferred to Iowa State

Dan Samuelson OT - xferred to Eastern Michigan

Logan Tuley-Tillman OT-Dismissed from team, xferred to Wash St.

Shane Morris QB

Jaron Dukes WR - Left team Medical Scholarship

Da' Mario Jones WR - xferred to BGSU

Csont'e York WR Dismisssed from team - enrolled at Toledo

Derrick Green RB -xferred to TCU

Hoke's Defensive Recruits fared much better but offensively out of that group the only real contributors were Khalid Hill, and Kugler.

Do you think that no real contributors from that class on offense could have caused us to take a step back last year.

This is year four, Jim's got mostly his guys in there now, and quite a few of them have real  in game experience, we'll see if their contributons improve this year.

05/11/2018 - 12:14pm I'm In...

Per the discord server message.

05/10/2018 - 4:06pm Bravery in that OSU Game aside...

My thoughts on Gardner at the time were once he got hit his effectiveness tapered off. That and sadly for him it seemed that the only WR he trusted was Jeremy Gallon.

He's make 5 or 6 great plays a game but he made a whole bunch of ?!?!?!WTF?!?!?!?! plays as well.

That being said that 4th quarter in that OSU game was one for the ages except for the final outcome.

05/10/2018 - 1:33pm If Shea Wins the job

His mobility and arm strength is going to give B1G D-Coordinators heartburn this fall.

05/04/2018 - 4:11pm So easily that Bradley seriously contemplated..

Withdrawing his forces if not fpor the heroic action of the destroyer commanders who got in as close as possible and blasted the shit out of the German mortar and machine gun emplacements. By close I mean under 2500 yards from shore, Practically point blank range.

Oh, and if you look at any map of the invasion you'll see that Omaha was the lynchpin to the entire invasion plan. If the landing at Omaha failed the Germans would have been able to cut the landing forces in two and probably would have wiped out the invasion in a couple of days.

Oh and if you still think that Omaha was easy and only a few casualties you should look up the enemy force that they faced that day. The 352 infantry division was comprised of Eastern Front Veterans with as smattering of Kids and Ost impressee's.

2200 dead half the total from all 5 beaches total dead over 4400. another 10,000 casualties.

No cakewalk whatsoever, everyone of those men who participated in the operation was a hero.

05/04/2018 - 3:43pm Yup, them T-34's don't get supplied

without the 200,000 Studebaker US6 2½-ton 6x6 truck's that we supplied to them via Lend Lease.

04/25/2018 - 3:42pm She was three sheets to the wind

or drunk as a skunk. or Pie eyed, or Pissed as a Newt, or Well Oiled...

Well you the the drift here.

04/19/2018 - 11:29am I never understood why there wasn't an investigation...

After this picture got leaked to the interwebz...

04/17/2018 - 10:30am Can't upvote this enough...

People that think QB's are in real game situations in the spring game are seriously deluded, the game is more of a fan thing/recruiting tool than anything else.

So many false expectations set by the spring games over the years...

04/16/2018 - 11:21am I believe that Barrett's injury was Orchestrated and Haskins

...was prepped to step in in case The OSU offense was struggling late in the game.

Don Brown had Barrett locked up tight and Meyer knew it, he probably figured that Michigan prepped the D to stop Barrett but not anyone else. When Haskins came in I told my wife that this could be trouble, and it was.

That being said I think that any QB they play  against us this year is going to have a very difficult time of it, and if we can limit te QB in the Meyer Offense we stand a pretty good chance of winning the game provided we don't make any stupid mistakes.

04/16/2018 - 10:51am I had the pleasure of meeting R.Lee Ermey on several occasions..

a couple of times at Trade Shows and then at Camp Perry duruing the National Matches on the firing line, commercial row and at the PX.

I remember the Marine Corps Rifle Team Drove him down the Viale Range Road in a USMC Wrapped Humvee, and parked it on the Assembly line. Boy did they get their asses chewed out by the RSO, because the only vehicles authorized to use that road are the Shooter Shuttles and the ambulances as well as CMP Staff.

The Gunney took all the heat and sheepishly apologized for this transgression.

After the Garand Match the line in the hot August sun for people to get him to sign his autograph was 5x as long as the lines for the commemorative T-Shirts and Award Medals. He stayed until the end and made sure everyone who wanted to shake his hand got the chance.

I brought my daughters with me to a trade show he was attending back in the early '00's and he took a real liking to my youngest daughter and presented her with one of his Mail Call Challenge Coins,

She brought that same coin to the SAFS when she was 13 years old and challenged the Gunny with it. Of course she had to buy him an Iced Tea at the PX. But he remebered giving it to her and she thanked him for all the work he did for Toys For Tots.

As I sit here reflecting on my memories of the Gunney I'm sad that America has seen the passing of a person that embodied Esprit de Corp of the U.S Marines.

Godspeed Gunny and Hold Hard.

03/23/2018 - 2:21pm That last one is fake news.

02/16/2018 - 11:53am Yup.. Been saying this for many years...

People are a product of their times, beacuse something was the norm in their day doesn't necessarily mean that they were/are evil people and that their actions should not discount any good acts that they might have accomplished.

02/15/2018 - 12:50pm I like it!

02/15/2018 - 12:46pm Firing guys is not necessarily the best way...

To address a situation especially in football, sometimes you just move people around and they'll move on on thier own.

If you get the reputation as a hatchet man everyone will fear you and you are less likely to attract great candidates because they might not want to risk thier career on your organizations lack of tolerance for risk.

That being said I think Drevno and Pep have been 'reassigned' so that they can move on without losing face..

My inside source said Harbaugh missing on the Greg Roman hire was the only reason he kept him around. Bringing Ed Warnier onboard is the insurance policy for when it comes time for Harbaugh and Drevno to part ways.

02/15/2018 - 12:26pm See below:

02/12/2018 - 12:06pm Doesn't fit the Spartan Narrative...

"Well even though we had violent felons on our team it's OK because Grant Perry, Brendan Gibbons, Taylor Lewan amirite?"

Unreal to deflect like that... More of the anything to win mentality...

01/23/2018 - 11:20pm And don't forget the cheating Scandal...

For a school that prides themelves on honor and high academic standards that was a black eye for sure...

01/21/2018 - 10:18pm It's called pushing the envelope...

Every great competitor does it.

You can read one of the all-time "Cheating" stories here:

https://macsmotorcitygarage.com/the-truth-about-smokey-yunicks-78-scale-chevelle/

12/04/2017 - 9:55pm There's the problem with this hire...

"collective" Sounds like Communist Football to me.

12/04/2017 - 5:01pm Key word there...

"underrated"

11/14/2017 - 1:09pm Yes...

And then the NFL PED random testing caught up with him(Gholston)....

11/08/2017 - 5:02pm Some people just take things

...way too seriously... That being said there will only be one Ric Flair WOOOO!

11/06/2017 - 9:19am And Harbaugh salvaged his career....

at SF. Alex Smith was widely regarded as one of the top 10 NFL draft busts before Harbaugh took over the niners.

Redemption because of Jim Harbaugh's tutleage not Uban Meyer's development.

11/01/2017 - 10:52am Derrick Green...

Talk about a swing and a miss...

10/20/2017 - 5:02pm Rick Neuheisel is picking us...

He keeps saying that Harbaugh relishes the underdog role and is reminding everyone who will listen of what he did to Pete Carroll and his Trojans...

10/12/2017 - 10:43pm You ain't lying Bro...

6 O-lineman in the class of 2013, only 1 remains.... Sheesh...

10/12/2017 - 10:32pm That was on the special teams coach...

The punter is supposed to look over the formation and if it don't look right take the delay of game and then get the protection right.

In the sense that the head coach is ultimately responsible it's Harbaugh's fault.

And that's why Baxter's back at USC...

10/11/2017 - 10:35am Yup, Brady Hoke the gift that keeps on giving...

https://michigan.247sports.com/Season/2013-Football/Commits

I can't believe that we missed on virtually every O-lineman we took that year.

You guys keep saying bad luck... It don't get any worse than that.

10/10/2017 - 10:55pm Double Tap...

nftxt

10/10/2017 - 10:54pm We were out of timeouts...

But I would have taken the delay of game, and then fixed the formation. My conjecture is that's why Baxter 'went' back to USC at the end of the season.

That being said, our RB's fail consistently to pick up the blitzer on pass plays. That is directly on the RB coach, we'll see if it gets addressed in the upcoming weeks.

And, finally, let's simplify the playbook a bit to get the offense some confidence. stop trying to outsmart the other team and let's get back to what Harbaugh is known for out physicaling the oppositiion.

10/09/2017 - 5:19pm Yup.

And if you're 6'2" and you insist upon standing up infront of the 5'3" lady sitting behind you don't bitch when you're told to sit down because you are blocking out the sun... Common courtesy folks it goes a long way.

10/09/2017 - 3:52pm I like it...

10/09/2017 - 2:59pm IMHO the Issac fumble...

was the killer in that game, we were moving the ball, then the fumble and then the MSU touchdown swung the momentum over to them and we didn't start to get it back until the storm blew in which sapped it away again...

Just goes to show that you gotta take care of the football....

10/09/2017 - 12:35pm I'm not sure if....

Either Hamilton or Drevno were on the sideline during the monsoon, but I'd sure like to know why we wre attempting to pass the football in those conditions... I'm very surprised that Harbaugh didn't override those passing playcalls....

10/09/2017 - 9:12am That wasn't Borges Playcalling...

it was Dave Brandon's playcalling... Hoke and crew were that guy's puppets.

10/09/2017 - 9:12am That wasn't Borges Playcalling...

it was Dave Brandon's playcalling... Hoke and crew were that guy's puppets.

09/29/2017 - 2:43pm In the corpreal sense maybe....

but does one really ever die if their words and deeds are reembered by even one person?

09/27/2017 - 8:33pm Unfortunately, Jewell is a 5th year senior..

And the Media is in love with him, Bush will be 2nd Team All-B1G.

09/21/2017 - 12:02pm This is why...

I love College Football. stuff like this the Iowa waving to the kids thing and all the rest of them that come from the grassroots of the players and the fanbase is what make this the greatest of sports.

09/15/2017 - 3:39pm Eva says good hunting and god speed!

09/07/2017 - 10:21pm A pic of the author of the article...

09/07/2017 - 10:12pm I agree

'Boy, if we had done something differently ... .'"- Jack Swarbrick

You mean like Join the B1G when you had the chance.... Too bad. To hell with Notre Dame!

09/07/2017 - 12:16pm I agree with your statement....

but I think the Texas fanbase is somewhat delusional in thinking that they should just be Great because they are Texas, their culture is broken and that needs to get fixed or they need to develop a meritocracy Like Harbaugh did. Then they'll see the results on the field.

09/06/2017 - 3:00pm I respectfully disagree with that last statement....

I thought the 2000 team was very good back to back losses by a total of 9 Points, If only Lloyd had the backbone to tell Henson that his Senior Captain QB was going to start all the way instead of splitting time with the freshman, I feel that things might have turned out differently...

Oh well, What is and what should never be...

09/05/2017 - 9:09pm Clemson...

My parents built their retirement home about 2 miles from Death Valley, Clemson's just a nice small college town, friendly people, and the Upstate is beautiful, And don't forget the Wednesday and Sunday Jockey Lot's in Pickens and Anderson.
