Like plenty of others, we had quite a time getting back home yesterday. . . flew from Dallas to NYC; original connecting flight thru ATL was delayed so I was able to rebook direct to LGA. . . looked to be no problem; BUT there was a glitch w/the Delta app and I spend over an HOUR at the ticket counter in DFW trying to get that squared away, which caused us to miss the rebooked flight. . . now we finally got on a flight leaving around 4 (then 5, then 5:30), which promised to be landing during the worst of the storm on the East Coast. . . and WOW - what a flight. Almost got sick on the roughest flight I've experienced in 20+ years. . . finally landed without issue; home before midnight. . . all in all, really didn't care - was still buzzed from the game.
Long boring story about a long travel day. . . in the end, who cares - MICHIGAN IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!!
Feel blessed I was able to go; first bowl game I attended since 97 Rose Bowl. It was worth the wait!
Love these. . . keep them coming. . . it is alway a good time trying to guess who will be featured. . . I'm guessing that Carl Tabb will be on pins and needles hitting the refresh button around midnight hoping he'll be immortalized tomorrow.
