03/16/2018 - 11:04am Humble Brag?

You mean because I said I turned 13 that school year?. Trust me, no brag. I hated it. Just contrasting with Simpson. That kid has a huge advantage on his peers. I've heard of coaches in particular doing that with their kids, but wow. I was done with my 11th grade varsity football year at his age.

03/16/2018 - 10:43am 15 Years Old?

I turned 13 during my 8th grade year. Times have clearly changed...

09/23/2017 - 8:01pm Figuratively and literally.

Figuratively and literally. He's never shown what O'Korn showed tonight anyway.

09/17/2017 - 8:27pm Chris Perry is Back?

Apparently Chris Perry caught a first down at the 5:10 mark.  He looks fast on those knees.

09/16/2017 - 8:27pm I Hate Games Only On Cable

I hate when games are only on cable.  I missed out today, but I'll wait for a YouTube wrapup or something other than a Torrent download (YouTube is easier to watch from the phone).  Gotta love it when the commercials are cut out for you.

09/11/2017 - 5:24pm Something Good

At least something good to hear from that game.  Bengals fan here too, but I'm pretty much repulsed by Marvin Lewis still being in charge. So much so, I have a hard time paying attention.  I ended up not watching any NFL this past weekend.

Glasgow will have a good career though, I expect.

09/02/2017 - 5:24pm He's getting destroyed today.

He's getting destroyed today. Better step it up.

08/21/2017 - 12:27pm Brian Cole?

Forgotten that Brian Cole played receiver too.  Wonder if DPJ will do both down the road.

08/21/2017 - 12:08pm Scholarship

I've never done either, but I'd probably rather play for Rutgers than blow out my knee.  Especially if it's free.

08/21/2017 - 12:03pm Conference Looking Good

Big Ten is definitely representing at the top of the polls.

08/21/2017 - 11:43am Library Eclipse Party

Attending a library eclipse party and hating that I couldn't visit a direct path location.

08/21/2017 - 11:37am And With That...

This discussion  has taken a wrong turn.

08/21/2017 - 9:14am Enough

Three straight minutes of staring this is enough for me, thank you.

08/21/2017 - 9:11am Special Teams

Gifted athlete, no doubt.  We definitely could have used his field goal blocking skills at Iowa.

08/02/2017 - 3:17pm Sweet!

Sweet!  Go Bengals.  Was a beast for a few years down there.  I loved his work effort and competitiveness.

07/27/2017 - 6:17pm Would much rather it be hosted by the Schuyler Sisters.

:)

07/25/2017 - 11:22pm On the Money

You are correct, sir.

07/25/2017 - 5:01pm Alex Malzone

What's the word on Alex Malzone?  I had high expectations for the guy and he's fallen so far out of view that Harbaugh doesn't even mention him.  Is he still even on the roster?

05/15/2017 - 8:48pm I've Lived in Columbus

I've lived in Columbus.  It's probably suitable for Jim Rome, but not much more.

04/29/2017 - 4:50pm Surprise Pick

And with Clark's selection, every one of us who said no way to him getting drafted after that injury shows how much we don't know.  Congrats to Jeremy!

04/18/2017 - 10:43am Ann Arbor Hands on Museu

The Ann Arbor Hands on museum would be a good choice. The kids love it and the adults probably will too.

04/17/2017 - 5:14pm Google Apps for Non-Profits

Google Apps for Non-Profits would seem ideal for you, IMO.  I run a 501(c)(3) myself (www.partnershipfordads.org) and implemented this solution some time ago.  It is free and since you already use Google, you should be familiar enough to integrate it with what you're already doing.

01/28/2017 - 6:32am Partnership for Dads

I'm involved with a Detroit based 501(c)(3) charity called Partnership for Dads.  We have programming and events designed to aid dads build stronger families and we partner with existing organizations to make this happen.  Our flagship event, the annual Fathers Conference, is today.  Always looking for volunteers and support.

12/14/2016 - 3:18pm Take a Hit and Move On?

I'm not a fan of the idea that people shouldn't be allowed a chance again after doing one bad thing and this scenario is a prime example.  I don't like his judgment in putting himself in that spot, being aggressive in pushing up to the bar, but the women in the video shouldered him, threatened to swing at him, then punched him in the face before he swung back.

Why is there fundamentally no discussion on the fact that he was threatened and then punched before he swung back?  Kind of a double-standard there.  Suspend him, kick him out of school, punish him for hitting her, but giving a dude a second chance for defending himself sounds reasonable enough to me.

09/06/2016 - 1:56pm Thanks

Loooong time lingerer.

09/04/2016 - 3:30pm That's State MO

That's State's MO.  They did that all last season and won the conference.  Don't sleep on them.  Michigan needs to take that game seriously.
