In the last month I have been trying to understand and communicate what angers me so much about the sign stealing narrative. It's not the crime, punishment or smear campaign that has been leveled at the University. It's the fact that this might go down as not just one of the best Michigan teams of all time, but a True Team full of great humans.

This game means a lot more to Purdue than to Michigan. If PU wins, they go to the Rose Bowl... If Michigan wins or loses, they continue on to the playoffs. No surprise that Purdue has come to play.
I have heard 'confidence' defined as stacking success upon success. This has certainly been true in my own life, but for the last 16ish years it has been missing from my thoughts and feelings about this program.

Ditto... I had many concerns about RB given UMs past struggles in recruiting high value guys AND actually seeing them perform on the field. So far, at least, that question is heading in the correct direction.

Would be nice to see the run pass split for first 3 quarters vs. 4th quarter when (against lessor competition) they are likely taking the air out of the ball.
I wonder how many more years College Gameday will be able to roll out Corso and cover up his obvious flaws. Very sad to see a CF icon crumble before your eyes.
You keep hearing comments about how close these guys are and how much that means to them. Football is unique in this way given the size of team and the physical nature of the game. This kind of brotherhood coupled with great talent is something Michigan has been missing for awhile and may partly explain their drought against Ohio.
Looking forward to starting a run of our own. Go blue!

I don't ever remember watching a Michigan team like this. I was very young or not yet conceived for many of the Elite Bo teams, so I cannot comment, but Michigan has never fielded a team that has been so adept at offense and defense in my viewing experience.
This is only year 2 and while Harbs has some great talent & experience, just think how good this offense will look in Year 4 and beyond with all his recruited players and playing in the same system for 4 years.
The Game will tell more of the story, but we are watching a Virtuoso Coaching Performance. I can't wait to see the next installment.

For my money, the pick against Michigan State was the greatest play I've ever seen at the college level. There's a reason he is the only primarily defensive player to ever win the Heisman; he is truly transcendent.
I agree with Brian, the PSU fans were very hospitable. We sat on the Penn State sideline surrounded by Marcus Allen's Mom and her entourage and they could not have been more pleasant. I was ready with my "I am a level-headed fan just here to enjoy the game" speech, but it was not necessary. That said, I did lose my mind on the "Chop" Block called against Perry on a WR screen. I even yelled at the Side Judge "not to forget his check on the way out." A nearby PSU fan yelled "Hey, I paid for four penalties from you today..." To which I responded, "Give this man his monies worth!" You know the officiating has melted down into horrible when the home and away fans are uniting to taunt the poor calls.
I live in Northern Indiana and my neighbors were lighting off fireworks after the last IU regulation TD. I was shocked that they were at all confident with 2:30 left. I guess if you are an IU fan this is essentially a win. That was tough to watch, but I'll take the W after the last several years.
That performance was a thing of beauty!After the first drive, the last 9 years of cold, water-boarding conditioning, told me that we were in trouble. AND THEN, the D stood tall and Michigan never looked back. It feels like our time in the POW camp of perpetual embarrassment is over and some other feeling has emerged. HOPE, hope has returned my friends.
Did I read someone say that we should have kept Hoke because "he was a great recruiter and coach." Come on... I liked the guy and his recruiting was good, but he could not get any of these guys to play to their potential and we lost a ton of verbals during his tenure. Lets give Harbaugh a chance to coach a game before we write him off. This is THE GUY we wanted and needed. If he doesn't bring U of M back to greatness in 3-4 years then I will be the first to say I am wrong. However, I believe he will do what he has done everywhere else; win...
