Blackish-white weasels scratch furiously at brownish-blond weasels...

Terrified?

Truthfully, I'm surprised by the offensive explosion this year. I mean, it's completely insane the numbers the offense is putting up. But you have to wonder, how bad is are the first 5 teams UM has played (VERY BAD), and how long can Robinson last? I know I'm worried that Pryor's the leading rusher on OSU's offense, but UM fans must go into catatonic shock when Robinson even looks PARTIALLY injured. HE IS YOUR OFFENSE.  But let's be realistic here "Mr. Michigan Man", until RR can get some 4 star guys on defense that actually STAY enrolled for more than a few months, there is NO WAY michigan beats OHIO STATE.

Hey dude

I absolutely HATE michigan football, and all it stands for, but I think Ozzy's "Blizzard Of Oz" is one of the GREATEST rock albums OF ALL TIME. Enjoy your day! GO BUCKEYES!

YEAH. IT'S BEEN GREAT!

The RR hire HAS been great. TWO LOSSES IN A ROW to Ohio State. That's pretty good. In last year's game, there MIGHT have even been some records broken. I think you've got to go back to 1911 to find a UM QB who fumbled in the end zone (TD) and then decided to finish up the game by throwing 4 INTs. But I may be wrong on that, it may have been 1961. EITHER WAY, it's been GREAT!

BE AFRAID. VERY AFRAID.
A random question about Tate Forcier....

I was just watching THE GAME from 2009 on You Tube and thought I'd ask somebody close to the UM program about a question that came to my mind. After Forcier (Tater) fumbled in the end zone, threw four interceptions and FLAT OUT LOST the game single-handedly for his Wolverines, how was he able to stop from committing suicide after the game? If anybody has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it!

I observed an ASS KICKING.

That's about it!

Michigan LOSES!

Doesn't anybody here remember last year's game? Come on, you can do it! Indiana had a first down and Donovon Warren stole the ball at the end of the play and the umpire erroneously gave Michigan the ball. Indiana would surely have scored on Michigan's crap defense and won the game. THIS YEAR'S PAYBACK! INDIANA WINS BIG! GO HOOZHURS!!!!!

ONLY in Ron English's dreams....

does he "roll Ohio State", which is a quote from a previous post. But this is so ridiculous to talk about whether Ohio State is allowed to hang 70 points on somebody. Are you serious? (I'm talking to the person who invented this post in the first place.) Michigan goes out and puts up 65 on BG and of course nobody cares. Why should they? It's Bowling Green. It's EMU. These are teams that would lose to the state Champion High School football teams in places like California, Florida, and Texas. (possibly Ohio too)

But what about "The Game." This is specifically directed to UM fans. Are you guys bored already? I am. 6 in a row is getting pretty "un-rivalry" in my opinion. I know the same thing happened in the 90s when Cooper was coaching OSU, but I just kinda wish things weren't so boring. So when UM comes down to OSU this year, they should do a couple of things: 1) Don't start Forcier. 2) Leave Mike Shaw in Ann Arbor. (2009: 7 touches, 7 yards.) 3) Pray Denard doesn't get concussed.

Today's when the tears fall.

Bowling Green will beat Michigan today in Michigan Stadium. It's currently before game time in the time zone that I currently live in, so this is a valid prediction. And it WILL happen. If it doesn't, and somehow Michigan wins, it's only because Michigan's two-star guys on defense were just good enough to beat Bowling Green's two-star guys on offense. As always, Michigan Still Sucks!

MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS!

NO MATTER HOW MANY YARDS DENARD RUSHES FOR!!!!!!!!!!!

Won't matter

The only detail you forgot to mention here in your historic analysis is that it won't matter how many yards "Drob" has at the end of the year because the only statistic that matters (of course you know this---I'm not calling you an idiot) is Wins and Losses! That's what you should have done your friggin analysis on. How many Wins does "Drob" have? 5? He can't hold Rick Leach's jockstrap without getting tackled for loss against Ohio State's "silver bullets". (And I don't even like Rick Leach.)

Yep.

Michigan still sucks.

Hmmm

I suppose that's a good question. I have no idea about Florida. Of course Florida sends a lot of talent to the NFL. Go ask Urban Meyer.

The difference

The difference between your post and mine is that mine is FACTUAL and yours is WISHFUL thinking. I'm actually surprised that you didn't stoop to childish antics and call me names like most fools on the Internet who argue about "who's team is better".Thanks for that.) But your final comment "Your post has no merit" line shows your emotional fragility and allows me to feel your anguish at the truth that I just imposed on your wounded psyche. God knows it must be horrible to be a UM fan these days. I feel your pain.

It's hard to believe how ridiculous your comparison is of Michigan's NCAA violations coupled with RR's legal problems and violation of his contract, etc. that has followed him from Morgantown into Ann Arbor like the stench from a dirty diaper to former Buckeye Maurice Clarett's run-in with the law.( As if Michigan has never had players arrested.) Thanks for playing. The truth is this kind of stuff has hurt Michigan's image, just admit it and stop lying to yourself. We'd all rest easier.

What other bogus arguments of yours can I assault?  Ah, of course, recruiting. Come on, check the roster of some of UM's greatest teams of the 80s or 90s. There are 25-30 Ohio kids on UM schollies racking up Big 10 honors, All-Americas, and of course even a Heisman. Take a look at RR's current sad excuse for a roster. Ohio is WAY down. He can't even get any 4 star kids. The current roster looks like Michigan St.  UMs days of recruiting the best from Ohio are gone, and with it the good ol' days of Michigan football.

Let's face facts. It eases the suffering. Eventually.

Fundamental Problem at UM

The drop-off in talent at UM is glaring since Coach Carr's departure. That of course hinges directly on the fact that RR's spread offense doesn't produce NFL players so what's the point of playing at Michigan anymore. Couple that with OSU's rise to national prominence again, and subsequently shutting down UM's historic recruiting in the state of Ohio, and you've got a recipe for epic failure. Let's recap: 1. RR's Spread: No recruits interested in playing in a system that fails to produces NFL players. 2. OSU's rise to elite status: Michigan can no longer recruit the state of Ohio, where so many of its greatest players hailed from in the past. 3. Image & Public Relations Hell: NCAA violations, RR's negative image following him from Morgantown to Ann Arbor is the third ingredient for the current malaise. COnclusion: No easy solution. 1st, hope that Tressel retires sooner rather than later. 2nd, hope somehow to get to a bowl game once in a while for some positive national exposure again. 3rd, keep beating Notre Dame, but that's a dead horse and nobody cares anymore about the Irish. 4th, somehow, someway, beat Ohio State. But that's not going to happen in the next two years, at least.
