Peppers should stay. I really don't know what position Peppers will play at the next level. I don't believe his value at CB in the NFL is that high. He has coverage deficiencies and a lack of ball hawking ability (only 1 INT in his career). Only way a CB is taken in 1st round is if he is a great cover guy which Peppers is not. I'm not sure if he is a safety either in the NFL as I question his size and speed for the safety position. I feel his best bet is to stay at Michigan and hone his CB skills ie. Improve his pass coverage skills and get more picks to show his ability to produce takeaways. I do not believe he is viewed as a first round talent by the NFL as some believe he is.
Why not measure? In OT the ball is spotted at the 25yd line to start the series. This makes the 15yd line the line to gain. The ball just needs to be touching the 15yd line to for it to be a first down. When the refs spotted the ball touching the 15yd line it made it a first down. This is why no chains were needed in this case since the 15yd line is the line to gain. For a call to be overturned by replay it has to be conclusive. The replay was not conclusive (100% showing video evidence to overturn the call) which is why the refs said the play stands instead of saying the call is confirmed. Had Barrett been called short on the field, that call also would not have been overturned. I know you are disappointed but this was the correct call based on the rules and with replay.

I hope you keep it all. I am an Ohio State fan. I hope you guys keep the Legacy Jerseys. Your QB wearing 98 looks stupid. It might look cool if you guys would actually win. Your coach not wearing a headset and short sleeves again might seem cool or tough if you guys actually won. I don't mind you guys calling us Ohio. It might be taken as an insult if you guys actually beat us more than once a decade. But it just sounds like my little brother calling me a name just to try to get a rise outta me cuz that's all he's got in his arsenal. But what I hope you guys really keep is the fact that you guys just can't compete with us any longer. I laugh when I see people posting on here that you guys are turning the corner in this rivalry. All I see is big time recruits decimmitting from your school and THE Ohio State University continually getting commits from big time recruits. Ok take your best shots. Call me a troll. Call me what you will. I take great pleasure in your agony. Go Bucks! Beat That Team Up North!
Excuses for not going. I don't think this generation of UM students values the football program like many of us older people do. Think about it. This year's seniors have seen UM beat OSU only twice since they were in 3rd grade and MSU has won on a more regular basis in recent years. Until UM defeats it's rivals more regularly expect the student body to be ambivalent towards the football program. Hate to say it but in their lifetime as a UM football fan, the program has been, dare I say it, mediocre at best.
