I'm also excited to post that except for the loss to Alabama, every loss in 2012 were close, hard-fought games against good teams. That includes the loss to Spurrier' Gamecocks in the bowl game. Similar to the aforementioned breakdown of how awesome some of South Carolina's losses were.
I considered the sanctions. They were not any more tough than following Rich Rodriguez. Yes, Spurrier is a HOF coach and it still took him 6 years to show legitimate progress. With that in mind, why would anyone expect Hoke to produce at a faster rate? It's not a logical conclusion to make.

The next weekend I could not even got that damn game on TV in North fucking Carolina! I had to listen to it on the radio and spent the rest of the day in the dog house because it was my wifes birthday and I was losing my shit all day!
I want nothing less than absolute and complete destruction of the Domers. This is the most important game of the season because it is the next game. I want the Domers disillusioned and distraught with disbelief. I want them questioning who they are as football players as they are banished indefinitely to the wallows of the ACC witness protection program.
This Saturday the gilded inflation will expire as its faux ranking intercedes violently with facts. The time for reckoning rumbles in the distance. The time for pretending is over. You are doomed.
This is the bowl they earned. We were given the Gator Bowl last year. I just hope we win this one, hopefully in convincing fashion. This program can't afford additional questions moving forward.
I'm pulling for all other BIG shcools to win except for Ohio. They need a losing streak. An improved national perception of the BIG helps Michigan in the long run. Constant losing to the SEC in the post season perpetuates the cycle. We need good coaches and recruits to want to come here instead of there.

Matter of fact, I would like to see the BUTTGUYS lose this game and their bowl game. And I say that being a complete and unabashed BIG homer.
Next year is the first year where there are little to no disclaimers for performace. The players are there. They are Hoke's recruits. Many of them have meaningful experience and an off season to improve. The system was implemented this year and should be completely installed by next season. The RR era is well in the rear view mirror. Next year it's Hoke's economy, along with the rest of the staff. At this point I think stability moving forward is a good thing long term even if Borges or someone else does not grade out. With that in mind, I'm willing to give them more time based on the entire body of work and overall upside.
What about mediocrity from the fan base? I see Ohio gear every single damn day I leave my house and I live in North Carolina. I rarely if EVER see M gear. I get being frustrated with the coaches, but the players are the ones on the field today facing the odds. Support the damn team.
On a side note. I wore my M sweathshirt on BLACK Thursday and to my surprise I got one GO BLUE from some random person and saw a vehicle from Michigan with an M sticker. I did not see one single thing for the BUTTGUYS. Is it an omen? Hell yes it is!
The BIG championship is gone. The home winning streak is gone. The 10 win season is gone. The entire world is against you, to include some of your own fan base. Your coach is under assault. This team has nothing left to lose, so why not win.

Les seems to be on a Lloyd trajectory at LSU. The last two seasons combined with losing 3 out of the last 4 bowl games will most likely not meet the standard, especially when you consider his two recent raises in salary (it was two, was it not?). I wonder how long before the fans decide he has not done enough lately?
As evidence by the fact that people who have a vested interested in the financial outcome of their production causes me to respectfully disagree. It's called economics. If they were not making money with them they would disappear.
Alternate jerseys are here to stay. The younger generations like them. That includes potential recruits. If you don't adapt you become extinct. Yes, that can even happen to Michigan. To some degree it already has. Stop being whiny old fucking dinasaurs...change happens. Embrace it or get the fuck out of the way.
