The real example of Webb being disingenuous is Eyabi Anoma. He should be embarrassed about that one. Michigan was completely out of it until randomly like 3 hours before the announcement. And surprise surprise. It was Bama.

12/09/2018 - 10:14am If Harbaugh can’t win titles…

If Harbaugh can’t win titles or beat OSU, he should be fired. Plain and simple. We aren’t quite at firing point yet, but trying to reframe the expectations is lame.

That was a good win. One good win does not make a satisfactory season.

11/26/2018 - 11:00am Or maybe you're the one…

Or maybe you're the one doing this? Going back over the season, you can't strut your stuff over two wins vs. 7-5 teams.

11/06/2018 - 10:32am Blaha is a great Pistons TV…

Blaha is a great Pistons TV guy and he is not even super homerish when covering them and gives lots of credit to the other team.

Blaha covering MSU football games just can't keep up (like Brandstatter) and is a venomous homer.

Really a dichotomy.

10/22/2018 - 5:45pm I'm not scared to play Bama,…

I'm not scared to play Bama, but our chances of winning a national championship are infinitesimal to the point where the CFP is just window dressing. For example, if I was given the choice between locking in:

L vs PSU

W in Indy

or letting the season just play out, I would 100% lock it in.

10/22/2018 - 5:41pm This Bama team might be the…

This Bama team might be the best college football team of all time, atleast in the modern era. They are blowing teams out of the game in the first quarter every single week. There's no way anyone is going to be able to beat that team as long as Tua is there.

10/22/2018 - 5:20pm We ain't beating Bama. Give…

We ain't beating Bama. Give me an OSU win and the Big Ten Championship so we can get the monkey off our back.

Yep! Trash program that deserves no respect.

I presume this is Michigan telling the network "No"?

10/19/2018 - 11:51pm No personal knowledge of…

No personal knowledge of what the arrangement would be. My assumption would be that they travel the night before since we can obviously afford it and it'd be easier to have the team prepared without the hour long drive tomorrow morning (assuming they don't run into gameday traffic)

Reading between the lines on the insider info:

Gary practiced all week. Today his handlers told him to sit out anyway, and thus he's sitting out. I would guess an insider post on 247 coincided with him not making the trip.

PFF is not quality of competition adjusted.

Some media types are saying on twitter that it would get Michigan in trouble because Tai Streets probably donated to the university at some point in his life.

It's very much a stretch.

The authors of articles don't pick the titles. That's directly done by editors.

I had an open appendectomy about 7-8 years ago or so. I was walking fine the next day and just had some slight pain for a couple weeks.

He had the surgery in April, so it should have nothing to do with whatever is going on with him now 5 months later.

7 or 8 wins. This team just doesn't have the consistency or O-Line play to navigate this schedule.

I am sure those significantly worse recruiting classes will result in better players than we have now.

09/02/2018 - 10:47am Is there any actual reason…

Is there any actual reason to have hope for this program? This will be Michigan’s best team for the next 3 years atleast and it looks like we are a 7-8 win team.

This program is just dead, man

Two separate posters on 24/7 talking about it through different claimed sources and umbig11 saying cryptic stuff.

Unlikely to be false.

08/01/2018 - 1:26pm The rumor coming from OSU…

The rumor coming from OSU people has been that Warriner is the one that leaked the initial reports of this to the press. Not sure how valid of a rumor that is.

07/30/2018 - 9:48pm Hopefully O'Korn is not…

Hopefully O'Korn is not welcomed back. Harbaugh has become a national laughing stock for allowing him to play and how he's gonna publically take shots at him?

06/30/2018 - 2:37pm You can only have 105…

You can only have 105 players in fall camp I believe. So, it's not uncommon where some walk ons are left out of fall camp and then invited back once the season starts. Maybe that?

06/26/2018 - 1:01pm Yep. You have to really look…

Yep. You have to really look hard at a situation to tell whether or not a player is highly coveted. Offers isn't a good enough metric

What's funny is that Brian has the exact same take as Bluey/Maizen/ShawnL. But he's stayed quiet about it for a while so everyone forgot.

The reason is because our userbase is full of a lot of people from Mgoblog who didn’t previously have reddit accounts. So we have lots of people with low stars due to not having karma/tenure. We got a HUGE spike in people participating once we started posting updates on here. Weirdly enough, we don’t get a ton of participation from Michigan fans who were already reddit users.

Your assumption was correct! I think we just fixed it.

By the way, as of now we have the third most territories at behind Nebraska and Florida.

Realistically, there isn't much incentive for anyone to flip

06/05/2018 - 7:11pm Woah, it be white

Woah, it be white

05/24/2018 - 12:57pm Realistically Clemson is too

Realistically Clemson is too small to hurt us at this point. If they attacked us, we could theoretically wipe them in one turn. We're about 4-5 times larger in terms of army size.

05/24/2018 - 9:32am Except PFT isn't satirizing

Except PFT isn't satirizing Barstool. He's satirizing mainstream sports journalists and the way your Dad talks about sports (both online and in real life).

This is the logo you should press the corresponding button for if it says attack Ohio.

Everything corresponds to the names of the "territories". Territitories are named after the team that initially occupied it.

05/23/2018 - 10:04am The game admins haven't told

The game admins haven't told us. We THINK that Team Chaos is just dead forever and that concept is just removed from the game.

The big image is weirdly compacted. So right click on it and press "open image in new tab" to view it full size

05/18/2018 - 11:01am We only had 5 rogues attack

We only had 5 rogues attack Clemson and just got lucky. They understand. They also had 9 rogues attack Rutgers

05/16/2018 - 3:29pm So the attack/defend buttons

So the attack/defend buttons correspond to the territories, not which school currently holds the territory. So if you click the UConn button, you will be attacking/defending UConn for that turn. You'd only see an "OSU" button to attack if we bordered their initial home territory (Columbus and the surrounding area).

05/15/2018 - 11:04am This is likely true. The

This is likely true. The admins have indicated there will be some change in mechanics late game to facilitate a winner, but idk how it will go

05/15/2018 - 11:03am Nah. OSU also posts some

Nah. OSU also posts some public instructions that we see and react too. But that doesn't compose the entirety of what both teams are doing.

05/15/2018 - 10:54am Tbh, what really happened is

Tbh, what really happened is that in the beginning of the game we were a little weaker than OSU so we were just randomly swapping MidWest territories for a while. We decided that was pointless so we left to consolidate a better position in the northeast. We grew our army and started hammering through the smaller schools. But unfortunately, no one else has really bothered to push OSU so they've been able to follow us without too much effort. And then we got nerfed right as our confrontation was about start. So now our armies are about equal size. So we're in position to just randomly flip territories at this point. And OSU will slowly lose their territories in the midwest if they are focused on us.

Realistically we will need to help to really eliminate OSU at this point, but we have some ideas to get ourself in a better position.

Surprisingly enough, I can click a button on a fun strategy game once a day AND hang out with my girlfriend today ;)

05/11/2018 - 12:45pm Yeah it would. At the time we

Yeah it would. At the time we left for the northeast we were a lot weaker though. Chaos also started in Alaska so they were very far. Hopefully OSU takes care of it.

05/11/2018 - 12:44pm We scrape all the numbers

We scrape all the numbers from the website every day, but our numbers are set up so they will only display active participants. The Leaderboard shows total people who have registered.

05/11/2018 - 12:43pm I think it's mostly just

I think it's mostly just because Nebraska and Florida fans got good participation from frequent Reddit users from the jump. We didn't really, and we have so few stars/user because we have recruited a ton of people from mgoblog.

I've thought about trying to query reddit for everyone with Michigan flair and PMing them.
