I gave you an upvote to see if points are back to registering, they are not.

I did see that new Wolverines Wire site has a similar layout to this effort, minus the commenting and board posting/diaries.

"Typical of Brian to retreat to the virtual MGoBasement and not communicate with his customers."

You hit the nail on the head right there.

I understand that it was a big endeavor to get the new site built and migrate the info from the old site. I get that. But the lack of communication and basic customer care has been the biggest disappointment thus far for me. I'm sure Brian and Co. read these threads and the silence from them has been deafening.

A simple user guide for posting pics/gifs/vids/hyperlinks/block quotes, acknowledgement of our questions/issues, some type of submittable form to report said issues and an annoucement of know and work in progress bug fixes would go a long way in providing basic customer satisfaction.

The ability to edit your post would be extremely beneficial in space saving so you don't have to create a new post every time you fat finger or have a new thought add.

06/13/2018 - 11:35am The thing is, he was still…

The thing is, he was still under contract for 2014 & 2015. There was no need to spend that kind of $$$ extending him eight more years at that point in Miarch 2014. If they could have waited a little while longer maybe the extension wouldn't have been for so many years.

I understand Illitch wanting a WS championship before passing, but man, this contract is a massive albatross to the team and their future.

On another note, when in the heck are they going to bring up Christian Stewart? He's one of the only players in their system that can hit for power. The Tigers are the worst team in the AL for HR's with only 54 on the entire season.

06/13/2018 - 9:01am Edit - contract was signed…

Edit - contract was signed in 2014, the year after his triple crown season.

BTW, the lack of ability to edit posts on this new platform really sucks.

06/13/2018 - 8:51am Unfortunately his "fine year…

Unfortunately his "fine year" has been mostly as a singles hitter. There has been little to no power in his bat this year. 3 dingers, 11 doubles and 22 rbi's are alarming stats especially for someone with his credentials.

That eight year contract extension in 2016 is never going to get any viable ROI.

05/31/2018 - 11:32am Matt, thanks for the updated list.

I appreciate your contributions, knowledge of these players and how that relates to UM.

05/26/2018 - 4:46pm Vyy ask so many question, Teacher?

In Mother Russia, question ask teacher.

05/26/2018 - 4:43pm Not so fast, Sobchak.

I'm told the new, even more superer advanceded "Twin Engine ICBM" (shown in flight in last picture) has some real potential.

05/04/2018 - 9:53am When I read the name "DJ Carton"

I immediately thought of this picture (due to heavy lack of sleep lately):

05/04/2018 - 9:43am Don't forget that fine institution

from the lone star state - Baylor.

05/04/2018 - 9:36am A New Hope will always be my favorite

but ESB is definitely the best of the bunch.

1. ESB

2. ANH

3. R1

5. TFA

6. TLJ

9. PM (introduced jar jar and not nearly enough Darth Maul)

05/04/2018 - 9:26am To be even more fair,

there were plenty of scenes on the island that did not involve porgs or even seeing them.

And the kicker, they invade the Millennium Falcon, nest, give birth and jump in the cockpit to fly around with Chewie. Just plain unnecessary and only there to sell toys.

05/04/2018 - 3:52am Ah, no.

Going with a Harbaugh meal, milk and steak.

05/04/2018 - 2:50am Of the last three movies,

Rogue One is my favorite.

I agree, TFA is better than The Last Jedi.

If you could remove the whole casino planet plot line and the cornish game hen Porgs (ever since ROTJ gotta have cuddly creatures for the kids and merchandise sales) I think TLJ is a decent movie.

05/04/2018 - 2:40am Blue Milk and a Porterhouse for Breakfast.

Blue Milk

Ingredients: 1-1/2 cups whole milk 1 tablespoon sugar ½ teaspoon vanilla blue food gel dye. Stir together milk, sugar, and vanilla.  When the sugar is dissolved, stir in a drop of blue food gel dye until combined.

05/03/2018 - 2:34pm To be fair, all three of the athletes

you mentioned are blonde headed. Maybe Seth has a thing for blonde dudes? Obligatory NTTAWWT.

05/01/2018 - 5:44pm I don't know, you could be spot on.

I do know Brian has been very cranky lately and is getting much more difficult to get a read on.

Rowland has been writing/posting articles while over seas and I'm sure his conscience will be totally fine turning in his expense report when he returns home.

05/01/2018 - 2:41pm Also, the unnecessary shot at Kyle Rowland.

"I'm in Paris, better justify my existence."

Now Rowland can file that expense report with a clear conscience.

If Rowland's boss/es didn't want him to follow and report on the team in Paris, they wouldn't have sent him.

It's not like he can just say "Hmm, Paris in Spring sounds awesome! I think I'll pack my bags and head that way on the company dime for the hell of it.".

Seems like Brian is jealous or being really petty.

04/28/2018 - 5:17pm "Bob Quinn is a buffoon."

Exactly one year ago today, in the 2017 draft day two thread,  you were complimenting Quinn.

You have no credibility when it comes to speaking on the Lions draft.

Lions had a very good draft last year. Quinn has earned some leeway.

04/28/2018 - 3:10pm I'm sure the feeling is mutual with most around

here toward you.

You are such a chicken little, sky is falling person. I have no idea why you even bother to watch sports.

04/27/2018 - 3:48pm Vote for Icarus as well.

The Russian doping scandal was state sponsored and Icarus was very eye opening.

A little older doc but still fascinating is The Smartest Guys In The Room - about the Enron meltdown in 2001.

04/27/2018 - 9:27am "Kurt Cousins" - LOL.

If you're going to butcher his name at least give him his due respect and call him by his given name of Cork Coupons.

04/27/2018 - 8:27am It will be interseting to see if LJ can read nfl defenses.

If Jackson can add good weight he could be a dangerous weapon in the new nfl. Compare Jackson's stats/measurables to Saquon Barkley:

Jackson - 4,132 yards for a 6.3 average and 50 rushing TDs (plus 9,043 career passing yards and another 69 TDs through the air).

Barkley - 3,843 yards for a 5.7 average and 43 rushing TDs (102 pass receptions for 1,195 yards and 8 TDs).

LJ measurables - Height 6'2", Weight 216 lbs, Wingspan 33 1/8", Hands 9 1/2".

SB measurables - Height 6', Weight 233 lbs, Wingspan 31 3/8", Hands 9 1/2".

I think the Ravens got a steal in LJ.

04/26/2018 - 8:02am WTF is wrong with you?

Joking about women's private parts after being raped is never funny.

04/22/2018 - 1:01pm Drupal hackerz,

you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious...
