I can't believe this post! I almost bit my tounge off reading "there aren't any in Manhattan that even have a shot at being considered in the same breadth as Zingerman's or Maize and Blue." Have you ever been to Katz's?
Being born and bread in NY, I feel like I know a bad deli sandwhich from a good deli sandwhich from a great deli sandwhich. (In my opinion) Maize and Blue is a BAD deli sandwhich. Seriously. There is no flavor in their sandwhiches. The ingredients taste cheap. Zingermans sandwhiches are expensive, but larger and infitnetly more delicious. I'm not an organic freak or anything like that, but to me, the quality makes a huge difference in flavor. Zingermans would compete with delis in NYC. Maize and Blue would close in a week - poor, unfriendly service and bad sandwhiches...
They moved him to saftey, so Revis has no effect. That being said, not only has he been sidelined with a head injury, reports are that he has been up and down in camp. Hopefully he can pick it up...
Matt, I was totally excited to live with you, until I saw this. Revis has been greedy. No need to put all the blame on him, I know neither side has been reasonable, but to expect more than Asumwhateverhisnameis, who got an out of control contract from Al Davis is unreasonable.
Anyway, I hope the report is true. Go ask Neil Schwartz yourself. Also, see you on wednesday.
An blurb in the NY Post this week said DW has been up and down in practice. Hopefully he can step it up in practice and in the preseason games.
Also, he wont be getting any more reps because of Revis' holdout. Donovan has moved to safety (where he is mentored by Jim Leonhard, a Wiscy grad). That being said, I think they will give him a fair chance, but he is going to have to prove himself to prevent himself from getting cut...
Maryland is about as far from Ann Arbor as Missouri. They might not have great tradition, but better academics than Mizzou and Pitt, a constantly solid basketball team, and potential for a good football team. It would expand the Big Tens footprint, and Maryland as a state produces a lot more D1 recruits than Missouri.
That being said, I don't see Maryland wanting to leave the ACC for its basketball team...
I don't think any point you just made was valid... I think your sick of losing and your blaming it all on RR. Obviously, he has not excelled here, but to say, "Frankly, I'd like the excuses to stop, and class and character to return to the Michigan program, win or lose." well that's just stupid.
Terrence (CB) is now rated a 78 and a 3 star on ESPN. Terry (DT) is a 75. Interesting considering both scout and rivals have Terry rated as the better player...
First thing I eat once i get back is definitely No Thai. Very excited...
Freshman start moving in September 2, so welcome week will start right about then...

Quick, I'm about to register, and I'm not sure which Conforth class to take!? 209 or 219, any suggestions??
