02/27/2015 - 2:03pm Schlissel's Still Batting 1.000.

I'm curious to see what happens to the individuals involved once the criminal process is resolved.

02/25/2015 - 1:35pm De gustibus non disputandum est.

Having said that, it's gotta be black cleats and white socks.

02/22/2015 - 3:25pm I love watching Beilein's teams play.

Always an honest day's effort.  Never underachieving. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it to the B1G semis.

02/22/2015 - 2:30pm Love the way these guys play.

Injuries. Inexperience. It doesn't matter. These guys just give tremendous effort. Is there any doubt that Beilein is an outstanding coach?

02/20/2015 - 1:46pm That's right.

He said before the season he told Max he would not be offered a 5th year.

02/17/2015 - 8:52pm As long as Cash

is impressed with John Beilein I'll be happy!

02/17/2015 - 12:41pm Lots of good comments

but one I think cannot be overstated is what this says about Harbaugh's relationship to Whitfield, who makes his living grooming HS QBs to get to college just as much as getting college QBs to the NFL.  Having someone like that teling his proteges that JH is the guy can only help.

02/08/2015 - 9:42am The best thing about the quote

Is that Urbz and his minions think Sir Walter Scott is a TE from Glenville.

02/06/2015 - 11:17am Thanks for posting.

As another poster said, it's a class, Beilein-esque move.  It's reminiscent of how Saban and Meyer would have handled it.

02/05/2015 - 1:18pm Thank you for your service to the community,

our country, and the Wolverines!  Be safe Officer Cannon!

02/04/2015 - 12:05pm Good luck to Clark and Weber.

It's a difficult discernment they've gone through, and they owe it to theselves to go where they feel they'll best thrive.  I want guys who want to be at Michigan, who want to play for Harbaugh, who want to be part of the most successful program in the history of college football.  We have a lot of those guys to celebrate today, and in coming years.  Shed no tears, M Faithful.

02/03/2015 - 11:47pm As long as we don't get any late breaking Tafts,

Buchanans, or Nixons.

01/28/2015 - 10:35pm Clark ought to commit on the spot

if only because JH can balance a ceramic mug on his head while posing for the picture.

01/25/2015 - 4:15pm Congratulations, Nolan

...on a hard-earned accomplishment. That Jim Harbaugh and Tim Drevno eschewed the star-ratings and chose you ought to put a lot of wind in your sails. You look like an asskicker on your tape. Welcome to the greatest university there is!

01/22/2015 - 11:54pm Nice stories on Gentry in the ABQ Journal.

A search of the local paper has some nice stories on our target. Seems a real humble guy whose high school competitors hold him in real high regard. I hope he flips.

01/17/2015 - 10:22am I heard he's hiring Butch Hollowell to defend him.

01/16/2015 - 3:15pm Welcome!

+1

01/16/2015 - 3:14pm Can I get a "Hell, yeah!" From Coach Z?

Right on!

01/09/2015 - 5:25pm They haven't filled it

since DB's "resignation."

01/09/2015 - 3:25pm Tremendous!

Growing up in the 1970s, I know Rob Lytle is one of the faces of Michigan football that made me a life-long fan.  Great memories of him, Jim Smith, Rick Leach, Huck, et al.  Fast forward to the mid-90s, I recall the long-time coach of Fremont Ross saying he had a RB/DB that was the best he ever coached, even better than Rob Lytle!  That got my attention, and raised the bar very high for that Little Giant, Wolverine-to-be.  Better than Rob Lytle?  Well, Charles Woodson and Rob Lytle both have a special place in the pantheon of Wolverine greats.  Conratulations to the Lytle family!

01/09/2015 - 3:16pm Go Anthony Jordan!

A.M.D.G.

01/08/2015 - 12:05am Love the Banner!!!

Team ball wins and is fun to watch. Go Pistons!

01/03/2015 - 5:00pm Zak Irvin

has not made the transition--as Stauskas before him did--from complimentary, stationary stand-still shooter to being the go-to guy. No assists. No easy baskets attacking the basket. Until he, or someone else, establishes himself as the second fiddle to Caris, we'll be at or near .500 and hoping for an NIT bid.

01/02/2015 - 4:59pm Yes.

Look at Jim Harbaugh himself at Michigan. Great pocket passer, effective option runner.

01/01/2015 - 4:24pm Good news.

MOAR recruiting!

12/30/2014 - 9:22am I'm with the OP

on a return to maize pants and helmet stickers. Do away with clown costume uniforms of any type. That already seems like a relic of the DB bread and circus mediocracy.

12/30/2014 - 8:53am Since Yost dug the hole.

12/29/2014 - 11:59pm Bigger Catch?

As in Rex Ryan's a fat ass?  We'll that is demonstrably true, but nothing more than that.

12/29/2014 - 11:56pm +1

Nicely done, RG.

12/29/2014 - 8:30pm Nicely done, Don.

+1 because it's topical too!

12/28/2014 - 1:24pm Mark "Lancelot" Davis

should just put Glazer back in his pocket and stop embarrassing himself.

12/27/2014 - 11:07pm I was a sceptic,

But you must give credit where it is due. Hurrah for Hackett.

12/26/2014 - 10:54am Love Dave Evans!

.

12/24/2014 - 9:52am I was there with my Dad

amongst a sea of Trojans on the western side of the stadium. They stopped Ricky Ervins and Marijuanovich 4 downs inside the 5. Refs gave them four more downs on and finally on 8th down Marijuanovich bootlegged for the TD, SC having determined they couldn't run it up the middle. The holding call on Bobby Abrams was atrocious. #24 from Henry Ford was on the side opposite Stapleton's fake. A classic Pac-10 screw job. Glad Bo went down with pistols firing with the 15-yard penalty. A fitting end.

12/16/2014 - 2:28am Andy Moeller played LB for Michigan in the '80s.

Are you under 21? He's Gary Moeller's son.

12/13/2014 - 4:16pm This does it for me!

How about a moratorium on Harbaugh posts until noon, Monday following the end of the 49'ers season?

12/02/2014 - 10:43pm Maybe he'll communicate via ouija board.

11/27/2014 - 12:31am Athletic Administration Experience is Paramount.

What Michigan has sadly proven over the last decade+ is that the CEO as AD is a prescription for trouble. Goss, Martin, Brandon, and now Buddy were all successful in business. Administration thought, and certainly these candidates believed, they could tackle whatever college athletics threw at them, that this is the JV playground compared to what they accomplished in business. And I don't discount the psychic component of being head man at a prestigious D-I institution, particularly in Brandon's case, where he had a lamentable and pathological need to insert himself into every camera angle, press conference, etc. It saddens me that Buddy seems to think he's smarter than all of his CEO predecessors, that somehow he can do it better, or succeed where they failed. This lack of self-awareness and immodesty is what got us in the predicament we're in now. We need a professional athletic director, not a CEO on the downside of his business career. What reputable coach will sign on to play for a guy who says he's interim, but may be on the job a year or two, or may be permanent? Wouldn't the coach we want at Michigan want to know who his boss is going to be? I fear we're pitching headlong into another 5-10 years of darkness and football irrelevance. If Buddy installs himself as AD, I put it at 50/50 he retains Hoke. Thank goodness for John Beilein.

11/25/2014 - 12:35am Thanks!

.

11/24/2014 - 11:48pm I hope I'm wrong.

48-13 bad guys.

11/24/2014 - 11:44pm Love Ricky Doyle and what he brings.

Are there any SW Florida fans that can provide a phonetic pronunciation of his HS alma mater?  Thanks.

11/23/2014 - 10:05pm In that same dream...

I see Harbaugh at the podium, and the media ask him directly about his assessment of the team, and he deadpans, "We've got to get back to beating Little Brother." Oh, the fun he'll have with Urban and Dantonio.

11/22/2014 - 9:50pm Do you think Urban will go for two?

I remember when Gerry Faust was dead man walking at ND, and he went down to the Orange Bowl to play Jimmy Johnson and the 'Canes put a murderous whipping on the Irish.  No mercy, no dignity for the soon to be departed.  I have that same kind of feeling about Columbus: a resounding exclamation point and fitting end to the 2014 Football Follies we've endured.

11/22/2014 - 9:44pm ...said Lloyd Christmas.

...said Lloyd Christmas.

11/22/2014 - 9:24pm Thank you, Brian.

Your observations could be the epitaph of the Hoke era at Michigan.  There's no joy in calling it like it is, but it was just so typical.  A microcosm of the whole lost, miserable season.  As dark a moment as there's been since the Chalmers Elliott days.

11/22/2014 - 6:56pm Let's pull a reverse-Earle Bruce on the Buckeyes.

We need any edge we can get. What will the line be? +24?

11/20/2014 - 10:34pm Been a fan since the early '70s.

Never been a better player in my lifetime than #2. Congrats.
