Committed to Stanford as expected.

06/02/2010 - 9:51pm I live in Fort Wayne

Word around his high school is that he is a strong Stanford lean since Notre Dame has not offered yet.

05/25/2010 - 1:10pm Loss of Practice Time

Does anyone have any thoughts on what Michigan can do to mitigate the loss of time that can be spent developing players?  UM has some young and raw talent that we need to develop sooner than later.

04/29/2010 - 1:48pm ND fans like that they seem to have a more national presence

in recruiting this year.

Kelly has 9 recruits from 8 different states, including states that have big college programs to compete with on recruiting.  Ohio, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania are represented already.  Add that to how many of these recruits are 4-5 * players and how early it is in the process, and it is somewhat impressive what he has done already.

04/22/2010 - 12:18pm Sammy Watkins' older brother

is a cornerback for Florida. One more factor that could lean Sammy to UF.

03/12/2010 - 3:45pm Kool Aid for the 2011 season

Buck up little campers! Turn those frowns upside down!

02/14/2010 - 10:58pm Wow

I'm not sure if I can help the OP out if he puts down a Godfather 1 or 2 and promotes anything by Spike Lee.

02/14/2010 - 10:52pm Cheers to my fellow Mgodrinkers!

A few 7 and 7s and I forget that I should be having a moment to remember with that special someone (because she has to get up early tomorrow morning - poor girl).

02/02/2010 - 10:37pm I think this is a great sign

I think part of what Manny is missing this year is mature decision making and poise that comes with experience. With another year of experienced players around him, I am confident he can improve his draft stock.

01/28/2010 - 9:24am Another visit...

I heard another Michigan coach visited 2011 OT Tony Springmann in Fort Wayne this week as well. My friend's son plays football with Tony. Rumor has it that if Notre Dame offers, he will go to Notre Dame.

From Scout's profile: "Tony Springmann doesn't need to be sold on Notre Dame. The offensive tackle from Bishop Dwenger High School, which produced Tyler Eifert and John Goodman [both at ND], already knows plenty about the Irish."

01/27/2010 - 4:55pm I loved to watch the Fab Five

Watching the Fab Five is the first time I can ever remember the announcers keeping track of how many alley-oops were made. Win or lose, they were a fun team to watch.

01/23/2010 - 2:43pm My proud father story...

Every time Michigan scores a touchdown, either my 6 year old son or 3 year old son will run into the kitchen and play the Hail To The Victors song from my bottle opener.

01/21/2010 - 9:14pm Fantabulous!

I am going to start tailgating this weekend!

01/21/2010 - 8:37am Why did Udoh transfer?

Sorry if I missed this, but I never did hear the details behind his transfer.

Ouch

01/14/2010 - 3:55pm I'm sorry, Mr. Daly,

I can't hear you...your pants are too loud.

01/14/2010 - 1:53pm Thanks

I think I fixed the link.

Sorry about that.

You use your mouth purtier than a twenty dollar whore.

01/09/2010 - 10:53pm I have read on a few OSU boards

that there are acedemic concerns for some of there key recruits in this class. They may have a few surprises of their own.

“I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.”

01/05/2010 - 10:16am This post

gave me a fever!

01/04/2010 - 10:08am I am proud to say I am a Colt's fan

It is great to be a fan of a program that is not only very successful year after year, but also has players and coaches with integrity. Tony Dungy was not only a great football coach, but an incredible individual who has had a positive influence on many people's lives. Hopefully Jim Caldwell will continue to carry that torch.

I love to watch former UM players like Marlin Jackson, Mike Hart and Terrance Taylor (for a while) have success on such a team as well.

12/30/2009 - 7:28pm I guess you're right "technically"

as far as in what year the Super Bowl was played, but they are still referred to as the '72 Dolphins in reference to their perfect season.

Don't bother, I'll neg myself.

12/30/2009 - 5:16pm As a long time Colt's fan

I was disapointed to see the Colt's lay down with so much football yet to be played. No one has been able to decisively say that it is better to rest players or continue to play your best football going into the playoffs.
With out looking it up, who won the Super Bowl in '74? Very few people know. But most people know who won in '72 beacuse the Dolphins were the only team to ever have a perfect season. With a 5 point lead in game 15 and only 6 more quarters to play until the playoffs, I say go for history. When the regular season is over the Colt's would have had a bye week and their main goal of the year would have still been the same - win the Super Bowl.
It's not like they even turned the game over to their second string quarterback (Sorgi). How many teams in the NFL would expect to beat a possible playoff team with their 3rd string quarterback.

I need a drink.

12/29/2009 - 12:55pm If you get invited to your

If you get invited to your first orgy, don't just show up nude. That's a common mistake. You have to let nudity "happen."

12/24/2009 - 9:04am Long shot, but..

Long shot, but I say we give Ron Vanderlinden (Albion grad and current Penn State LB coach) a call.

12/24/2009 - 8:46am If Michigan were a stock...

If Michigan were a stock, I would buy it. The share price may be down now, but the right investments are being made for the program to grow in value in the near future.

12/23/2009 - 8:26am Lemons -> Lemonade

I would hang the Ohio State hat from my rear view mirror so I could park in handicapped spots.
