That's because without the SEC circle jerk in the rankings they can't have a team locked in. The system allows the SEC to get a lock every year. I honestly believe OSU and UM could take out ANY SEC school, most aside from Bama 75% or better of the times this year. I'd give Bama 50/50. I think the Big 10's top 5 (OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, MSU and Iowa) could take their top 5 (Alabama, Georgia, A&M, LSU and Florida).
There is basically no doubt he will wind up at Michigan. Between him and Rashan Gary, Michigan should have quite a haul this year. Damn...you had to go out and get a good coach lol.
