UM gets good athletes, and good kids. OSU gets great athletes and weaponizes them. You hear they prepare for UM all year round. They were ready, we weren’t.
Normal protocol is to not speak of officiating prior to a game. Popovich is great at trying to set a tone before a playoff series. Harbaugh should at least hint about how Rashan Gary gets “held” a lot. Every bit helps if UM is to win this weekend.
Our two rescue dogs, Abbie and Kayla, mean the world to my wife and I. One was refused from a puppy mill (no litters and no social skills), the other had been in the Humane Society for about a year and is the kindest dog.
I saw the story a few months ago and my eyes welled up at the end. Arthur will make sure his family is protected and well loved.
Please go to your local Humane Society or high-kill shelter and save a life. And by all means, have your pet spade or neutered (Bob Barker voice).
This UM club isn’t anywhere near that previous club. If UM wins, it will have to be a perfect game. JOK will have to pass for 200-250, no picks. The OL will have to protect with 1 sack or less, will have to rush the ball for 150-175 yards. The D will have to play pretty much what we have seen most of this year, other than the penalties vs IU. Somehow shut down Barkley similarly to last year, keep McSorely in the pocket and maybe force a couple of picks.
I want to see these things happen but I don’t expect them to happen.
I like the overall performance of the defense. Not a fan of the 3-4 but the LB's are filling the gaps the front 3 are allowing them to take care of.
Not as confident in the offense especially the QB. Too much thinking and I'm not sure if he trusts himself. Consistent overthrowing is bad footwork not just chucking the ball over the head of a receiver.
Purdue will score next week despite our good defense. First true road game and that joint will be hopping if Speight continues his average play.
For a rivalry game, the vibe during the tailgate was pretty subdued. I didn't come cross a Sparty fan who didn't think they were going to get blown out. In my AC #1 jersey, didn't hear anything negative while walking around with my Sparty wife. No "you suck" or "f--- Michigan". Anticlimactic almost like the game.
Glad to be 8-0 but a lot of work needs to be done on both sides of the ball. Lots of missed tackles, shaky secondary play. No sense of urgency offensively in the 2nd half.
So freaking glad Harbaugh is our coach. Go Blue! No cupcakes the rest of the way.
If true, the Manning clan (Archie and Peyton) and Phil Fulmer concocted a scenario that isn't plausible. They denigrated a true professional's career. And him taking $ from that douche Papa John explains a lot.
All items I've read report him being at practice with the other injured players but not suited up. I don't think he plays. I hope I'm wrong and he can play on both sides of the ball.
I think Sparty wins by double digits. They have been able to stop the better running games in the conference. Rudock was able to expose Sparty's secondary so Iowa will keep it close for a half.
Sidenote, how crappy will it be if East Landfill gets NC's in football and hoop. God help us.
I live in South FL and want to see them play here. I saw the South Carolina debacle and need to see a W from this team in a bowl. Hope Rudock and Glasgow can play.
Chesson slid because he knew he would rough the punter. Kinnel didn't do so. Field position was critical and the D had just stopped them 3 and out. A called punt block didn't make sense.
This is what 2 weeks of prep gets. Have to punt in that spot. Minny clearly looking for play action rollout. Fucking run the damn ball with Johnson, Smith is slow tonight.
They look a half step slow. Smith is dragging an anchor. Jake is not improving. Had to punt on 4th down. Don't give them a short field. Missed INT leads to a FG. Not being able to run the ball is alarming. Fuck this shit. Allowing them to stick around.

On the other hand, survive and advance. Go Blue.

We need OLineman. Glad we got Filiaga but we need more talent on that front. Drevno better coach these kids up this spring/summer.
